This could be a summer vacation home in the US. I'm confused by laundry machines both inside and on the side porch. The kitchen lacks adequate counter and cabinet space, and I'd replace the window at the stove with an extractor hood. If the kitchen were to be extended using part of the side porch there could be more food prep and storage space. But it's a cute place!

Hi. The washing machine is almost always in the kitchen in Europe because here we usually live in flats or small houses around 70m²

With the very large aging population, the most profitable designs would be in cottages for that group. Wider hallways, easy-access bathrooms, and everything on one floor.

Yes! Thank you! So few realy think about the older generation and their needs, not to mention the needs of the disabled. Focus on functional, not simply appearance.

I love a balcony patio to catch the summer breezes up where mosquitoes don’t usually fly. The loft could be larger to accommodate a half bath. I like what you did with the bunk room, too. What I don’t care for is the tiny kitchen, separation between the washer and dryer and any expensive appliance left outside in the elements. Never left a lawnmower outside so why would I want to have my washer or dryer outside?

Is having your laundry out on the porch, is that a European thing? In Singapore when we lived there, the laundry was out in a separate area, not unprotected like this.

@@cherylkruisheer3365 I have no idea if it’s a European thing or not. What do Know is mechanical things don’t fare well where parts can rust or attract dirt and dust easily.

It's not European. It's also a problem with noise, possibly less life expectancy because out in the elements and stealing if its out in the open. Also not that great to look at. Maybe some have it in the garage, but also not that common. If it's in a separate area that can be closed off, that would be ideal. Could be simultaneously a bike shed maybe.

As a holiday house, a month or less, would be fine; not enough storage or prep area in kitchen. Yes, 1/2 bath upstairs and laundry inside, not outside. Cute house.

There's absolutely no space for clothes or storage. I love the design, though. Would need to tweak it some. Possibly only a one bedroom.

In the kitchen. I understand the reason for the two tables but maybe get a table that expands/collapses and also hides the chairs inside of it from IKEA . Maybe you could do a counter extension (one that goes up and collapse down flush against the current cabinets)for food prep and placement and

Love the outside and all the patios and the balcony. However, the is no storage in the kitchen or the upstairs bedroom. Would have to change the layout inside.

What we are seeing is not a real house…photoshop. Probably a prototype model that can be modified for any customer according to their wants and wishes. Or that is what it looks like to me…the trees in the beginning didn’t look “real” that is why I am saying this.

There is a whole wall of blue cabinetry in the kids’ room but upstairs which I guess they’re using as the master there’s a couple of cubbies. Yes, storage is lacking in this home. Surely when they build it they’ll have some.

If I could live in a place this small, the kitchen didn’t have very much covered space that would be a big problem with me and I don’t know how I’d make the beds look very tight and I definitely the second bedroom would not have had any privacy and I need to have a peaceful, quiet place wise, living by myself and having stairs would not be easy for someone 77 years old like everything all the one level

🚨 Máquina de lavar roupas do lado de fora da casa, nem pensar! 👎👎👎 ➡️ Quem projetou esta casa, não pensou em quem tem que lavar roupas nos dias frios, à noite, e nos dias com muito vento e chuvosos... E muito menos na questão da privacidade e da segurança à noite! Sem contar que eletrodomésticos expostos na rua assim, estragam muito rápido, por sofrerem ação do clima. Eu nem quis ver a casa por dentro! Para mim não serve! Conforto, segurança e privacidade vêm em primeiro lugar! 🇧🇷 BRASIL 🇧🇷

I’m noticing these beautiful small homes they’re kitchen is too small for anyone that needs and loves to cook. It’s a kitchenette and it’s nice the way it is to make a sandwich or coffee. But not functional for anything much more than that. Sorry.

There is a point where a house is just to small for a family. The bunk beds are telling me this is for a family. Plus this house is smaller then 320 sqft. Front and back porches are not part of a houses sqft and neither are balconies.

This is a vacation Cottage not a living space. Another example of where all the attention was put into the exterior and not into the functionality of the living space itself. Nobody wants to open their front door directly into their living room. The way that the washer dryer combo is just sitting in the middle of the kitchen is stupid. That kitchen is non-functional for everyday living you could not cook an entertain very comfortably. Also, there needs to be some type of mud room half of that back patio space probably could be turned into a mud room / laundry area

Жуть.. Отопления нет. Стены тонкие, полно стекла. Стиральная машина - рядом с обеденным столом? )))))) То есть ни поесть, ни поговорить... Помещения крошечные. Лестница узкая, наверх ни технику пронести, ни мебель. И это - не 2 спальни, а по сути, 2х-этажная кровать. Абсолютно некомфортно ни тем, кто внизу, ни тем, кто наверху. Кто-то ночью проснулся, вышел в туалет, и разбудил всех вообще. Я уже молчу о том, что личной жизни в таком доме быть не может. А при таких тонких стенах, не только во всем доме, но и на улице все будет слышно. ))
