Really liked the coverage on Wolf's neutral! There's a slight definition mistake on the DA hitbox explanation. Wolf's DA has 6 different hitboxes, 3 early/clean ones from frame 11-14, and 3 late/sour ones from frame 15-18. The timing of the hits only change the damage and knockback of the move, not it's angles. What change the angles is what hitbox on Wolf's body you're connecting with the opponent. The hip one sends straight up, the knee one sends at about a 45 degree angle, and the boot one has a Sakurai angle (361 degree) and is the strongest from killing on the side.

Great guide, I’ve been picking up Wolf lately and my results in online smash have been great with him so far and this guide will certainly get me to elite smash with Wolf soon. One thing I know you covered a little bit about is how D-Throw into Wolf Flash is a true combo, there is a thread on Smashboards that details every percentage this combo is true on every character, just look up “Wolf flash throw combo” and it should be the first result. A lot of questions, does fair only true combo into grab at low percents if you land with a ff fair? I'm guessing grab isn't the best option if you space the fair as much as possible on shield? Also, is Dthrow dash attack only true if they don't di away? Lastly, do you have any tips as wolf and joker VS shulk? It's really tough to win vs a friend who shields a lot but is also good at avoiding grabs

yeaa it only true combos at low %, when % builds up u can go for a nair, fair, or upair. and some (big) characters can get hit by dthrow dash attack regardless of DI at times. and i unfortunately dont have much shulk MU to be able to help u out :/

I'm a casual, just wanna know his kill confirm moves. I've only seen forward special, but it seems nerfed or has a sweet spot? Also hard to force the opponent into one without putting myself in a dangerous spot, specially against characters with long range moves. not sure what you’re looking for exactly, kill confirms? there are a number of kill confirms in the video, mostly with Forward Airs (Fair > Bair, Fair > Side B) but also off of Grabs, other aerials like Neutral Air, and with the use of Smash Attacks

@@CozyyPR Thanks for the reply. The reason I was asking is because most of those moves I couldn't land, I had difficulty getting in. I was on par on damage with my friend, but we were getting as high as 160% damage at times. I feel I should have been able to close the gap and kill him, but didn't manage to, that's it! If that helps he was playing lots of Byleth.

Can someone pls explain what it means to buffer a move and how to do it? I keep trying to find videos on it but can’t find any. Is it something so simple it’s dumb that I’m asking or is it something other players are curious about?

buffering is pretty much just holding the input you would like so that it comes out as soon as it possibly can! for example, if u get hit, and hold X (or the jump button) while in hitstun, you will jump as soon as the game allows you to, because you buffered your jump! it works out of mostly anything (jumps, airdodges, attacks) 👍🏽

for a few frames during shine, u can turn Wolf around by just flicking the analog stick in the opposite direction you’re facing, keep practicing!

just don´t use wolfs side special to hit someone offstage...you always die too, it´s not rewarding at all since you always have a chance to miss the enemy but you have no chance to get back on stage by either hitting or missing your enemy

well if you’re down stocks or have 1 stock left its really risky/sometimes pointless to go for side B offstage. but if you have 2 stocks for example and the opponent has 1 theres really no reason NOT to go for it if u know it will connect 👍🏽
