In my opinion the Suns played good the first two games but don’t have the weapons. @@Tech-cy9yo same, book doing isos every play will cause them to lose no matter what. 100% agree with Shannon and I almost never agree with Shannon specially about lebron, Monty is getting outcoached by what alot of people keep saying is a bad coach in buddenholzer. Great f that legendary coaches would 10/10 call a timeout. From Phil, pop, Kerr, Riley etc they would of called that crucial timeout. Then there is cp0 this is his only shot and is blowing his only shot. This is what happens when you have a gospel coach they are only good for their words but in terms of Xs and Os not so good, look at Doc rivers he is the ultimate gospel coach and look at his horrible record .560 in the season as a coach and .512 as a coach in the playoffs, got lucky he even won that 1 ring if gasol would of played defense and not played soft In those finals in 08.

Monty has not coached well. I wouldn't necessarily "blame" him for these losses *although* ... I do believe there were moves to be made that could've changed games in their favor. Example #1 is playing Cam Johnson only 21min in a critical game 5 where he is clearlyyy outplaying Bridges/Crowder, even arguably on defense. Example #2 being questionable usage of timeouts and an EXTREMELY questionable challenge on a non shooting foul. That was plain dumb lol. Did these things *lose* the game? No. Could these things done better (calling timeout for Booker w 9sec left) have improved Suns chances/ win probability? I actually do think so.

If the Suns called a time out on the last play, we would’ve seen a different outcome. That’s just bad coaching 👎

Easy to say on the internet. Things happen very quickly on the court, without the benefit of a zoomed in slow mo replay. What we all know is that the suns have a great coach

@eurostar07113 жыл бұрын
Finally someone saying the truth. CP3 wasnt on the court when they grew the lead to 16 in Game 5. When CP3 was subbed back in, the Suns lost the lead within minutes. CP3 is great to help other players, but i dont think he's been making the right choices on the court lately.
@TheNamezZ3 жыл бұрын
But in 4th he was on court to cut into 14 4th quarter defecit. I get booker has been scoring well most of the time but his D is lacking, isn't passing, and has made a bad play at the end 2 times now.
@eurostar07113 жыл бұрын
@@TheNamezZ I dont think Book and CP3 should be on the court together TBH i think the way they play conflict with each other. Also, out of the 3 stars in Phoenix, at least 1 has to be on the court at all times they cant take all 3 of them to the bench at once. Suns really lack a good SF or PF too, they need a big PF that can shoot the 3 and defend the paint so when Ayton is on the bench, the Suns dont lose that inside defensive presence. There is a really overlooked player named EJ Onu in nba draft, he's an Ayton type with 40% 3pt shooting, he's a 2nd round projected pick only because he signed with a small school. Won DPOY in his conference. The kid would have the 4th largest wingspan in the NBA too.

Thats a good point from Shannon. You have to learn to the read the game, because timeouts in these NBA Finals, especially in the Finals, are more than just rest. And Coach Bud has read the game super well in real-time to call timeouts both on offense and defense. Thats something you need to learn, and its an underrated skill asset to obtain.
