Hello Cody, I have just starting watching your videos as I am the Grandmother that you DIDN'T think would be needing it. Well I am using your informative and entertaining videos to help me set up my streaming account software. One of my sons ha been at me for years about streaming my game playing. I have been playing games on PC for years and was a WoW afficionado for over 7 years. My favourite now is Ark Survival Evolved. I have been playing for many years with forays into Conan, FF, 7 Days to Die and Atlas. It was all very well to nag me to start streaming but is anyone here helping me set up? Hell no! I did notice when testing all the stream scenes would play audio at the same time. A simple fix was to set the scene audio settings to control via OBS.

That's a great question! I believe it is tied to the account so only 1 per sub but you can double check and ask own3d themselves

You can use it on as many as you want, because you bought the subscription to get access to those premium overlays, but you can use them as many times as you want on as many twitch (or non-twitch) accounts as you want.

Hi Cody, one more question/topic. I created my overlays and put them into OBS scenes, but when I wanted to play Apex Legends I realized thanks to Task Manager that something in OBS was using a lot of my CPU. Went through it and discovered that one overlay from OWN3D use about 7% of my CPU. Is this normal or not?(I have CPU which is not the best but its allright - Intel i7 2.something GHz) If it is normal, is there a way to stop my CPU from "calculating" all the overlays at once and make it "calculate" just one at a time? Is there a way to turn off the scenes in OBS/make them inactive? Searched for it on google and found that I can add hotkey to disable the source(overlay).. But I want to be sure, so I wanted to ask if there is any other way :)

If your game isn't lagging or anything then it should be fine, but you could always try setting a hotkey to disable/enable the preview and that should also help :D

It should be the same process as obs studio, but lowkey I'd recommend you switch from Twitch Studio to Streamlabs or OBS Studio anyways since Twitch Studio has gotten to be pretty booty lately

If you bought it through their other branch own3dtv then you can't use their builder on own3d pro. But you can simply just import your files they gave you into obs or streamlabs directly

so i have a 2560x1080 size moniter and when I put it in obs it doesn't look right because you still see the background, I tried making adjustments but when I tried converting my monitor to 1920x1080 I got the black bars on the side of my PC which did not look good at all so I changed it back and the overlay is not wide enough even when sizing it to 2560x1080 like the crop is correct but I just cant see the whole overlay...

Honestly I'd recommend switching to Streamlabs or OBS Studio instead of Twitch Studio

You should be able to make another one from scratch just like we did at the start

@@CpawsMusic it ask me to delete the scene cause im not premium. I did it but its stuck on a loop of "the scenes are coding themselves". Do you have any trusty site that i can still get overlays for free. Maybe I bugged out the own3d sorry

So if you're streaming from your console directly, then you won't be able to use OBS. It's kind of a one or the other type thing :D

True! But owed pro alerts work when I stream on twitch. Like when someone follows me it said “Ow3d: Blank has started following you!” But basically I’m at the point now where I’m trying to get blerp sounds set up but I’m stuck at browser source… Where do I paste my browser source URL? Bc I stream from console and twitch..

Is anyone else struggling to resize the window if you select game capture? Even with a game open I can't see it in my preview to resize so it fits in the box. Not sure what I'm missing.

try right clicking the game capture source > transform > fit or stretch to screen

my "stream starting" overlay continues to show in the 2nd scene "talking/gaming overlay" ive copied and pasted the url for the different overlay but it just continues to show the "stream starting" in the new scene... any suggestions?

Very weird, not 100% sure on that since it should be the same as in the video, but you can send a quick message to own3d support and they can check from their end :D
