Blue Skies and Tailwinds

Күн бұрын

Hello everyone!
In this video, I have explained the different types of winds that we study in aviation.
Watch the full video for complete understanding of this topic.
Explanation of all the winds in under 25 minutes !
Some topics covered in this video:
- What are isobars.
- How to read a surface pressure chart.
- How to read and understand wind direction and velocity.
- Important wind speeds to learn for the exams.
- Difference between Gust, Squall and Lull.
- Veering and backing of winds.
- Geostrophic winds.
- Coriolis force
- Gradient winds.
- Surface winds.
- Sea breeze, land breeze.
- Katabatic and Anabatic winds.
- Foehn wind.
Don't forget to take notes or screenshots wherever I have written the extra data about windspeeds, you should learn all those values.
Let me know if you have any doubts!

Great video brother… just one correction. 11:22 Geostrophic winds are infact stronger near the equator than at the poles because speed on geostrophic winds is inversely proportional the sin of latitude.
