You are Very wrong in your explanation with that example, coriolis force is just an apparent force that is visible due to earths rotation and application of ANGULAR momentum on things moving through air, you need to move in an angle to see a deflection , if you move parallel to the latitude you will not see any visible deflection but only your distance travelled will be calculated with net of your speed and earth's rotation speed, be it equator or poles ,no deflection will be there when we move parallel to latitudes Please correct me if I am wrong

I don’t understand why wind from north is being deflected to right when the diagrams shows it as left?
@mohsinyusuf805Ай бұрын
very intelligent of you to point this inconsistency! I think the wind actually blows towards right in anticlockwise direction and not in a straight line as shown by him and towards left in south, the earth diagram is probably wrong

I didn't get one thing. How the wind is supposed to move from left to right? How did you make this assumption that ideal wind direction should be from left to right? wind is supposed to move from high pressure to low pressure. Please clarify.
@multiverse69899 ай бұрын
I am not sure you need it now but just to answer, earth rotates from West to east, so the winds blow from West to east

I have a doubt....as we know that thr Coriolis force deflects the wind direction and the wind flows in a tilted manner than but the last diagram you are showing in the video why the Coriolis affecting the wind to blow from low to high pressure ....why the Coriolis is working vertically.
Thanks for Watching. It is difficult to slow it down now. But Incorporated the feedback in the new videos! Make sure to watch lots of great quality content!! But why coriolis force is downward direction in upper troposphere
@KnowledgeMediaMD3 жыл бұрын
Coriolis Force acts perpendicular to the Axis. Since Earth rotates from West to East, Coriolis Force acts in downward direction.
