CPL/ ATPL General navigation | CDMVT | Convert compass to magnetic and true| Variation, deviation 🤓

Hi everyone,
before I start posting videos on radio navigation, I am posting these two videos which will give you an idea of the basic general navigation terms.
This is one of the most important topics in general navigation.
Do watch the full video to learn how to convert between magnetic heading, true head and compass heading.
This video has the complete explanation of variation and deviation.
You should know how to solve the questions i have solved in this video.
I will post another video on Track, Track made good, Drift and Winds before I post the radio navigation videos.

@blueskiesandtailwinds6004, is there a simplified rule for applying the variation to QDR, QUJ, QTE, and QDM? E.g. If True, add west, subtract east. If Magnetic, do the opposite? In other words, add west, subtract east works only on true and for magnetic do the opposite? Many thanks!
