Bryce was very patient with the amount of std::string_view questions

Well ... it seems to me (comparing with Rust) that string_view sux :)

+Peter Mogensen string_view could end up being harmful because C++ doesn't have the same ownership semantics as Rust - but if it did, string_view would be fine.

could correct size font be used for the slides? on some other presentation attenders complained about cursor lag, that mouse cursor couldnt be used for pointing during the talk. which in turn, is likely caused by using too high resolution of the slides for the hardware/software to handle processing of the UIs...

string_vew is like you have another pointer points to the char of the string in C

Not sure I like std::string_view. Has a potential to be very dangerous, to introduce a lot of subtle use-after-free issues.

For those complaining about the questions about `string_view`: those people went there and sat during the whole conference. They payed for it or managed to end up working for an employer willing to pay for it (which may seem like a free ticket for some, but it's not). We're watching this for free, thanks to the generosity of the organizers. We don't have any right to complain. No one owes us anything.

*To people who organize this event* : It would be better to have a full screen of the presentation view through the camera so we can see where the speaker POINTS TO while speaking. Video template UI is just bad and not practical. No need to see the speaker in a dedicated subwindow nor the title on the right side... I hope you read this and make some changes for the future videos...
