Most of our magistrates here in our local juvenile court system are pretty mindful of the children being present in the room and usually takes a few minutes to get to know the children and allows them to pick a stuffed animal from the HUGE pile of donated stuffies that they have before asking that the children to be taken out of the court room before the actual hearing begins. I was shocked to see that these kids were allowed to sit thru all of this. Can the children hear all of the audio or is it muted for them specifically? I haven’t used Zoom or anything like that very much.

This was the most disorganized, unprepared group I have ever watched in a court room. It actually could be shown as a comedy hour except children’s lives hang in the balance. During this whole docket there was so little accomplished and most of it attempting to figure out who was who…that this Judge is not embarrassed speaks volumes. But then they did have some great chuckles and as he stated..” he enjoys humour”. What a circus!!!….Take some lessons from Judge Kim’s court for God’s sake’s. In his court the kids come first…people are prepared or he holds them accountable…as it should be. This is truly the “ Court of Talks Amongst Themselves”

I understand and agree that the older children want to be there and feel better when they are. The thing I did not like was the children's meds being announced on you tube. That should be shared out of the public. Knowing that so many people know what meds they are on should not be shared in this forum. That lawyer should be able to get that information in another way and not disrespect these children.

Unfortunately a law was past that children must be apart of their case I was a foster mother and would have to take my foster kids to court they would miss school for it and would be emotionally upset for days especially if mom or dad were not compliant one of my kids watch as her mom was arrested it was heartbreaking

I’m just now seeing this but seems like CPS has a whole lotta work to do to train their workers or send them to classes….there are so many kids who don’t gain anything from CPS….but first people need to act like they have a brain in their head and stop having babies just because you can and not put their best interests first…not their own. It’s gotten to where no one cares how many kids are brought into this chaotic world with parents who could care less about how many different fathers there are when more than one child. It’s appalling the conditions that kids are brought into this world. People have fun while making them but show little interest after birth except to shove them off to grandma or the state.

For criminal court minors hearings are not allowed to be put on KZbin, so idk why there’s a huge oversight in cases like this. It’s despicable, as is CPS as a whole.

So if I just understood that correctly the CPS worker admitted to the judge in court that CPS seeks a termination of parental rights for every single person they take decort even without any calls just in case they might gain calls in the future so they can avoid paperwork for themselves and circumvent due process for the parents. WTF 😳😡

This is a county court channel. This feed posted by the court. This needs to be open to the public to audit, these administration courts that the CPS process their cases tend to railroad parent parental rights through case service plans that had hidden or unknown conditions that failure to comply results in loss of parental rights agreement and or permanent adoption… its sad…. All of it…. The system 60% of the time is far more dangerous than the parents.

RIGHT - these kids need to hear everything, so that they know what's at stake and what the question's that they are being asked really mean and the results from their answers. absolutely need to be present. this prevents the lies of best interests, no one can say the children are thriving in foster care rather than with family ffs. it may appear savage but so is splitting up families
