CPU scheduling Practice - FCFS, SJF, MLFQ

I have a question at 23:50! How can P1 and P4 be scheduled before P5 when P5 have a higher priority? Is this some kind of "fix" where you give all the processes the highest priority, just to ensure that the non-interactive processes will be run?

P5 has a higher priority but it was waiting for I/O response, so it can't be scheduled yet.

For SJF CPU scheduler practice. after the first P3 on your Gantt chart, we are comparing p1_CPU=7, p2_CPU=4, P4_CPU=5, P5_CPU=3, at this point p5 is the shortest job. I didn't get why we will skip P5 and taking P2 instead.

at 19:45 you say that P4 will go for its REMAINING 7 TIME UNITS, but the quantum is only 4 units. wont it switch at time 34 with P1? i have a midterm tomorrow, its probably too late for you to answer this. goodbye

no problem. I think why she did it that way is because of that the level 2 RR time quantum is 7. I'm writing it for the people who may have the same problem in the future.

the quantum is 7 units,because it is queue 2 not 1
