great show. came in a tad late so I re wind. I have tuned UHF cans (duplexer) with a nano VNA-H4. it is a pain and with some patience you can get it close enough to work good. in US GMRS is 50 watt max and 5 MHZ split. just tune dip to noise floor on VNA . I ended up separating the cans and tune 1 at a time. the set i did was the TX/RX brand UHF with 6 cans total. 3 per TX/RX . was a repair /up grade of existing repeater cite. on top of office budling with cell phone and 2 meter ham and private repeater. a storm system cut range of repeater buy a lot. swapped out duplexer to better one. changed lightning protector to better one with N connector and took out LMR 400 coax. was not long. may be 45 ft total. used M & P hyper flex 10 all copper shield and when done. so much better . much better then first installed and that random noise getting into weak RX stations was gone. that was caused from LMR 400 aluminum shield. no good for repeaters. all copper you want or hard line. from looking over what was taken out the problem was LMR 400 coax. water got in . the outher jacket split at a bend to antenna . changing to N from PL 259 was a improvement as well. the small jumpers was hyper flex 7 used. all was the wight hi-temp also low temp. this in NY . I have a 10 meter repeater buy me. has a 222 MHZ and 70 CM link to it. the cans for 1296 MHZ are small . I seen 10 meter cans. like over 10 FT tall. 6 meter ones the size of a person. big JEEM has a CB ! going to listen in NY ! my DX commander does bonus band and my end fed half wave. solar weather crazy lately . 73's
