This is fantastic!! It's great to revisit this trip from a different perspective. Man, I just love that GoPro footage, it captures the drive SO much better than me holding my phone out the window, LOL. Nice job Shawn, this came together really well.

Thanks! I wish I had captured more footage on the gopro to be honest. I think I got too excited when we were closed to the Broken Top Trailhead summit and forgot to record. I’m starting to reach the limits with the software I’m using in regards to things I can fine tune and add in. Still pretty pleased with the turnout though. Glad I finally got around to re-capturing this great trip we had!

Don't you people experience breakdowns due to the motor-vehicle suspension, especially ball-joints and CVs? By the way, I am interested in having a "bull-bar" and "cargo basket" ideal for a Honda CRV RD1. What specs would you recommend? THANK YOU.

jjmarz1001 I love the look of the blackout lights. I did the retrofit myself, so I sprayed the paint, but you can buy pre painted ones on eBay as well.

Love the CR-V dude just got a 5 speed 99 myself! Man I got one question....how do you find all the dirt roads you take your trips on? I live on the east coast in PA and I'm trying to find some good roads to explore but haven't really found much

Hello, i intend to get a used crv for my job, I'm a videographer who need a small 4x4 which is economical and flexible. There is a crv with my relative I am going to buy. 97 model automatic, needs some fixing since it been parked for 8 months. Alot of my sets are in mountainous areas not off road but needs a 4x4. Do I have to lift the crv with special off road suspension or can I just ad a few inches without all the fancy stuff. And what's your take on automatic transmission, there aren't much manual around me. I live in beirut lebanon, the crv all models are everywhere but only a few first Gen are available in manual so I'm gonna have to go with automatic and the first Gen is 6k to 7k used the one I'm getting is going to be under 2k, needs a few fixes but it's a good bargain. Let me know your feedback, much appreciated

Kamal Sinno I think these firs gens are very solid! It should do nicely for you over there in the mountains as well. You are totally able to add lift spacers for pretty cheap to gain height without having to do anything else to the suspension. Mine is an auto and does fine off-road and uphills. They are a bit underpowered in general, so it revs pretty high going uphill, but that’s normal for these.
