Hey good afternoon...how do you find these places...?!? Do you have an off road GPS or something...I just got back from the wildland fires and I just bought a 2003 crv two days ago...I just lifted it today and put wheels and tires, roof rack and off road lights...my wife and I want to go off roading and camping for a week just for vacation...!just because i was out home for 3 months doing wildland fires...and we want to spend time together...!we live in Salem...!

Very cool, what tire size and lift do you have? Looks like a really cool setup.

Awesome, i dont own a crv (although a few years ago i had a chance of buying a first gen awd model) anyways i own a 4x4 but i also own an awd rav4 with a proper lift and AT tires and i know how capable a little awd crossover can be. I love to see awd vehicles doing things a lot of the purist think it only doable with a 4x4 platform. Ive taken my rav4 thru a lot of trails in baja all the way to La Paz and back so i know the value of a awd for light to moderate off roading plus you get great handling on road and even better mpg's.

You guys in us are lucky here in Norway we can’t go off-road with out getting in trouble with uncle pig and DOT. We only have destination spots where we got to wait to a meet up happens…… I Gues you guys can just drive up a dirt road and in forest without uncle pig gives a fine ??

We’ve got thousands of miles of forest roads/4x4 trails in our national forests. It’s all public land in the US

Aluminum heat soaks to much try touching that pipe after it’s at operating temp. I wonder if they make one out of plastic.
@silver_rd15452 жыл бұрын
I’m sure you could DIY one using pvc pipe and a decent air filter. Tbh this is mostly just for the sound it makes. These things are slow already, any intake setup isn’t going to make a noticeable difference

What is a good CR-V overland/off road forum?

I’ve been on the debate of either a 1st.-2nd. Gen CRV vs. RAV4 to use as an adventure bug out vehicle. I’m in LA but my dad lives in Fall Creek and I want to build something to be able to do exactly this when I’m up visiting. Do you happen to be on a forum or have any contact info to ask questions about your rig? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Your videos are great man. I see you haven't posted in over a year, did you stop the channel? Go on, there are not many of us to create off road content around the CRV ! Thanks for this nice video, the voice over is a very good idea 👍

Great video, it's a pleasure to see how the CRV 01 is capable. I didn't think you'd be able to climb to 5:29, and I don't know if I could do it with my CRV 2. Don't hesitate to check my KZbin channel, I make off road videos in France with the 2005 CRV, I must be the only one to do that in France with a CRV... 😂 it may interest even if you might not understand our language!! Thank you !!

Great video! Nice looking rig. I have a 99 that I off road on a regular basis. Just finished wiring the winch yesterday. They're pretty amazing little vehicles, aren't they? Hands down one of my two favorite vehicles I've ever owned. Cheers!
