I bought a brand new UFO set for my 99 CR250 for about $150 and i was extremely happy. Great quality and zero fitment issues. For the price they're the best choice.

I don't blame you Clint. It's hard to get motivated when it's that cold. Hang in there buddy. Keep at it. Stay warm. Another great show.👍💯🏁

I feel your pain. Was working on my bike Sunday. It was 5°C. Everything I touched was ice cold. Freezing my hands. After four hours. It took me nearly as long to feel warm again.

Please don’t take this the wrong way but your channel could have so much more viewers if you didn’t chat so much in your videos were not seeing much wrenching on your projects not seeing anything change or waiting a long time to see progress is rather boring hope this helps like I said I’m not trying to nock your videos but generally don’t want to watch a hole video of talking would rather see some genuine progress 👊🏻❤️

I feel you on the cold af weather. We got some rain here in Arizona and now it's dipping down to almost the 20s in early morning, low 50s for the highs plus the moisture in the air. It's hell after adapting to the high heat.

Definitely a good find... not too many CR5's out there anymore. Hopefully the side cover isn't corroded from the coolant corrosion. Always use distilled water in the cooling system. Excited to see the bike completed!

How has no company offered to send or sponsor this legend with a proper shop heater? Would definitely be a great video to review a heater sent to him, while working on the classics.

You need to insulate the garage doors. That will make it so that the space heater will be able to maintain constant temp in the whole room. They sell the insulation at any hardware store.

Since you're a big bore guy I am suprised you haven't looked in to making a YZ500 like lazer999 did with a current YZ250 chassis and a big bore yzm kit from BRC. That would be the best 500 you've ever ridden I'm sure. You should give it some thought. I see your garage is not insulated. That would keep you warmer, also put a garage door blanket to keep the heat in. :)

@someoneyouknow969 ай бұрын
You gotta get yourself a small cadet wall heater in there. Turn it on about an hour before you go out to the shop garage and it will take the bite out of it. It may not be “warm” but it will be better than freezing.

Bruh if you got a way to get some wood you need a old cast iron wood stove I’ve lived on the east coast in Virginia all my life and it can get pretty darn cold here sometimes and the old wood stove in the shop is where it’s at but it’s a little work to it lol

Insulate that little garage and put up a electric heater or propane can run it for 30 mins or so it be warm in there and only run a few mins at a time to keep it 60 easily in there when you wanna work in there. Sadly don't agree on the conversion frame for the build. Should work on one bike and finish it the channel kinda got carried away with back and forth between bikes or builds for awhile now doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Now I will edit my post since I don't agree with the spray paint problem I primer paint and clear my frames they come like that from the factory it lasts just fine and can be touched up easily can't say that for powder coat plus it cost money versus 20 to 30 bucks or less. I've done duplicolor anodized paint on rims looks just as good as excels colors and cleared has lasted very well. If you can't restore a rolling chassis easier then a cr500 af conversion then you have issues or excuses 😂
