Can I just ask does the sight end of barrel pull off and also not shot my gun yet but as anyone tested air arms diabolo fired 16 grain pellets through this gun and do they shoot smoothly thanks

I'm having trouble with the magazine. First shot is fine, but when I tried to bull back the bolt, and push it forward for the 2nd shot, I can't push the bolt all the way to load the 2nd pellet. What gives?

How smooth is the loading when using the single shot tray?

I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but I load the magazines correctly, and I do everything I see people do in the videos when loading the next round, but the bolt just doesn't want to push forward (It pushes forward so easily for the first shot of the magazine).

After a few mods to increase the power then yes, out to about 40m.

I have been having so much fun with this Rifle on Bunnies after mods , that ! I bought another, as you do! they are quite affordable. So this time I did no drilling out of any Ports, simply pulled valve apart, and milled off the face( where the hammer hits) so the pin sticks out that little bit more, basically removed that shallow indentation around the pin, now just flat! result! 158 MPS( around 518 FPS) with 18.7 g pell's , happy Boy , knocks Bunnies Arse over Tit!!

Normally around 40 at factory spec. Depends on the weather and the time you wait between shots

How did you increase the power? Would you choose this over the Crossman 2250? Also can the co2 be converted to PCP?

I increased the valve volume, decreased the valve spring tension and increased the transfer port hole size slightly (in the valve, TP, breech and barrel). I would rate this over the 2250 as a better platform as it already has a metal breech and offers the magazine, but it depends what you wanted to do with it. Pcp could ba an option but serious work would be needed

The rifle in the video wasnt mine, just one that had come to me to be modified. I have 2 others here to be modified at the moment so I may do a video with one of these ones. Would definitely recommend them as a entry into to target shooting

Well, you'r a bit of a tease eh? Telling us about the mod, but not really telling us about it. I take it that you got this from G.C., and the suppressor is the one supplied? Is this the $399 package as advertised on T.M.? I'm looking at getting one of these and tuning it for popping rats and rabbits at close quarters. 15 ft/lbs is a lot more grunt than I expected. How many shots do you get? Tell me more.......

Hi Ant, The mods were all posted on the NZ Air Gunners FB group. I have 3 members sending me their rifles for this tune up in Feb but its fairly easy to do yourself if you have a lathe and some machining knowledge, it is mainly around increasing the diameter of the Transfer Port and increasing the valve volume. Ron Young also stocks these and sells them slightly cheaper than GC do. This 15fpe tune still gets about 20 shots per cartridge which is pretty good really!

No need to tune, if you get the.22, it pissbowls bunnies out of the box, no shit, more powerful than I gave it credit for!! tip - use lighter ammo , it loves the lead free, goes like hell,

@@forcemultiflier1746 Lighter ammo on co2 produces quite a bit less energy, Doing this tune up work produced about 65% more energy and didn't really lose any shots per co2 cartridge.

@@edaggs1677 Hey mate. I'm not saying don't mod. All I'm saying is what you lack in mass on impact you make up for on velocity. Out of the box using JSB field target green, at 30 yards going for heart lung shot went clean through bunny, 2 hops and down

What weight pellets are you trying? I have had up to mid 18 fpe in .22 cal and mid 21fpe in .25 cal

@@edaggs1677 15 grain ,cannot get past 11 fpe, drilled out port to 4.5 mm , increased valve internally , the only high velocity I get is with HN field target green , zinc / alum pellets, but they are light as far as punch ! Pretty sure I'm doing the math right ie FPS X FPS X weight ,grains divided by 450.240 = FPE

@@forcemultiflier1746 I use the pyramid air calculator so not sure on the manual calculations. Try heavier pellets, 21gr should bump your energy up considerably, I have found 22cal needs the heavy pellet with good energy, 25cal performs better with speed vs energy so lighter pellets are good. 15gr is quite light for 22 cal

@@edaggs1677 Yep, that calculator gives me the same ,10.45 FPE , To get 15 FPE must only give you around 15 to 18 shots per cartridge surely ! as I have gone from 28 to 22,23 .25 on a hot day !
