I never get tired of eating crab. I will vacuum pack it and freeze it, if I have to.! Same as smoking meats, like brisket, pork shoulder, salmon, spatchcock chicken, and small rock hen chickens! I’m set for the winter dude!

Those shallow water Lings sure give you a good fight. I caught a 35" ling at 350' the other day and besides a few head shakes it was like pulling up a log. Another great video.

I don't think there'll be a salmon season next year. Sac/Coleman hatchery hasn't been doing to hot and that one matters the most.

Do you need to add weight to the hoops to help keep them down? I just got a kayak to try this out but I’m not sure if adding weight to the hoop is necessary or not

If the water is calm and you are dropping your gear in shallow, you shouldn't need any extra weight.

that ling would be illegal to keep in Alaska. Their legal size starts at 34." My largest was 62" and over 60 pounds. It hitchhiked on an 18 pound goldeneye. edven so At least you're having a blast and once again another great video. You've gotten so much better over the years and I always look forward in seeing your videos. Sure wish I could join you but I no longer live in California. Did you keep the cheeks off the larger one?

Why don’t you have salmon season? I am sure the have commercial salmon right? My cousin lives in Walnut Crrek and her sister lives in Sacramento, the are thinking to move out if California. They don’t like the way it has become. The gov, Newsome is a piece of work. Why did they vote him in? I am from KY. I don’t really care though.
