They sit in holes and current breaks off drop offs and rock piles next to sand. That's where I tend to get um Dec-Feb

I appreciate a good (near) skunk video... It's like when Rocky Balboa got a punch in on Drago in Rocky 4... "He Bleeds, He Bleeds!" hahaha, you'll get them next time!

You catch some fish Adam but they are not the one you looking for. Nice 2 rock crab you caught👍. At least you are on top of the water in this episode and it was a really nice day. Looking forward for the next vlog.

Love your channel! It's been about two decades since I traveled internationally. Could you do an episode on what it takes to prepare for that kind of a trip outside the US nowadays? Not only what you would pack, but the other travel related things to prep for or do. Cheers

I don’t know what it is about your videos but even if you barely catch anything I enjoy. It’s probably your calm demeanour and knowledge that I always seem to get something out of your videos.

Sorry to see it was stuff sledding for you, Adam 😢. Here in Socal, we do pick up a few Halibut in the winter months. The local boats focus on whitefish, sculpin, and Sandbass. Perhaps there are spots up north where you can do the same?

You have proven yourself as a hunter of fish. You have my respect. I have never fished the way you do, but we, the hunters of fish, just know. You have pounded them, I have been watching you for awhile and you got that bro.

Hi Adam. Thank you for the video. I think it’s too early for Petrale Sole. According the department of fish and wildlife, and base on my experience Petrale Sole most abundant at 180 to 400 ft from April through October, and deeper than 900 ft during winter. No wonder you didn’t get any.

Halibut come in during the summer months to spawn twice a year and winter months they are deeper usually caught by accident when trolling for salmon closer to the bottom almost impossible to catch them in the shallow waters in the winter months for the open ocean anyway they start an earlier spawn in San Francisco Bay and in full swing before we start seeing them in the area your in

There are numerous vids on knot tying as well as vids on which knots are stronger than others. Yes it does make a difference. It is a art all it's own. pay particular attention to knots to join mono line to braided line and how to snell hooks to line. Learn about 5 knots and you should be fine in most situations.
