Awesome video man! I would recommend a few things though. Number 1, When setting the hook to snare the crab make sure to do a big sweeping hook set instead of a smaller fast one. This will ensure that you snare any crab that is on your trap! Number two, I would recommend trying by the little stream that pores out onto the beach, this is because it is far away from any rocks so you can slay those Dungeness without getting caught up with those rock crab. Tight Lines man!

Great video. Keepem coming. When there are hundreds of lines in the water you should try to find a bait that differentiates your line from the others. Squid is okay but everyone uses it. If you’ve got old freezer burnt salmon, halibut or even chicken that could work well. I cut kitchen sponges and soak them in a procure krill oil and stick them in the cage with the bait. It lets off a great scent trail. Waders are a must for getting out past the breakers. 10-13ft rod with an 8000 reel with braid. Soak no more than 10 minutes and pack your second cage while your soaking with fresh bait so you can always have a line ready to go into the water after you pull. Good luck next time.

Nice channel. Use a 4/0 swivel with your main line to snare, keeps your line from coiling and don’t leave your reels in the sand use rod your holder. Keep it reel

Thanks man... I did put a snap swivel on later to switch out snares easier and usually try to leverage my rods on my cooler but it fell lol thank God they are sealed...

I was just there fishing today this afternoon which is a Monday the 16th. I was trying to catch perch but I didn't get none.... It was my 1st time fishing for perch and my 1st time being at that beach. Had a good time barbecued with my son. But anyhow nice video bro. Yes the houses are nice over there...
