CRABBING Coongul Creek - Part 4 of our K'gari Adventure

Grab a beer, put your feet up and get comfy as this one is jammed pack full of adventure!
We have set up camp on Coongul Creek on the west side of Fraser Island. We chuck the tinny's in, throw some pots out and catch some mud crabs, go fishing off the beach and hook up to something BIG, we take the kids skiing behind the boats and explore all the west side has to offer!

Nah no crocs there and the water was so clear you’d see them if there was one that had made its way down that far. It was also wrong time of year to be worried about jellies on the west. Xmas holidays is when people usually get done, when the water has warmed up.
