There's some text at the bottom of the electrobinoculars believes it says the b1's are allowed to take that upgrade even though they dont have the corresponding upgrades slot

And then with that spotter you can ai attack and then spotter next unit so you can chain aims if you couldnt chain all orders

Not sure on the name, but Captain Tanaka (?) Of the Naboo Royal guard would be pretty cool. Running him and a unit of Naboo guard alongside some Clones would be a cool army imo

Great video. The electro binoculars have a clause on them that states battle droids can gain a gear slot if they’re equipping that particular upgrade 👍

I noticed that too. I think it's a good way to make sure the droids can't use other equipment, but let the binoculars be used for other units.

Brand new player here! I’m honestly excited to play every unit, but I’m starting with the battle droids-hence why I’m watching this video. Favorite character from the Prequels would have to be Qui-Gon Jinn, but I have to agree with you that Mace Windu would be an amazing addition to Legion. Can’t wait to learn more about the game. Finally assembled everything, and we are doing our first battle literally right now haha

I think the key thing is the daisy chain of Coordinate. the interesting thing is 1: making a solid wall of droids, 2: having activation superiority of the enemy.

The electrobinoculars card says “B1 battle droids can ___ this card’s (gear) ___ icon requirement”. They’ll basically be able to ignore the gear icon and take the card anyway.

I'd love to see Count Doku, Cad Bane, Jango Fett, Yoda, Kid Fisto, Commander Wolf, Commander Cody, Rex, Fox and I guess a little bit of every single regiment on the clone wars era... I'm really looking forward to some new vehicles too!! The droid tank, clone turbo tank and possibly an At At!

Interesting addition to Legion, a real swarm core unit. Surely they won't be the only core option for Separatists, but I like them as a starter. My favorite character from the prequels is Jango Fett, and since he fights differently from Boba Fett, it makes sense to include him.

I finally grabbed a couple clone wars core sets. I built one box's clones and they were fine. Built the Droidekas and man they were not enjoyable to put together. I have been modelling/painting for 30 years and Legion's draw hobby wise was the quick easy builds of the units. Now it feels like a chore.

The prospect of a Mace Windu Qui-Gon Jinn lead clone army is the only thing keeping me from going yeah separatists! I already have Empire which is going to if not play similar to Clones look similar to the clones. So I was thinking something different, but if they have the right Jedi I'm going to be sucked into the Clones. I don't know man

I think its more likely that certain commanders would allow one to switch to one specific AI, like bringing CIS captain X allows you to change AI attack for AI move or AI aim within a certain distance. Or like, a mothership uplink that allows you to chose an AI type and droids near him can use that? Maybe im just thinking these guys are like the IG and the AI system is their equivalent of orders from 40k too much Anyway fave prequel char is probably Jango Fett. His backstory comic book series is amazing and unlike Boba he actually gets to do cool stuff before he dies...also Temuera Morrison's voice is fantastic.

Interesting. I'd love to see Mace or any of the named Jedi. I hope they are not over the top powerful but would be cool to see on the table a reproduction of the clone wars battles. Some of the coolest ships/tanks designs are from those movies, even though overall I'm not a fan of them as movies ;)

Jacob Gale Core units are limited to 3-6. So you would need to buy atleast one more B1 expansion to have 3 core units

I don't see AI attack as that big of a disadvantage. You only have to shoot if you can, meaning something is in range. If something is in range, you would probably shoot anyway. I do see that not getting aim tokens will be a disadvantage, but over all, I don't see having to shoot first as being a huge disadvantage.

I'll throw a name I'd like to see, Nute Gunray. Ok the coward wouldn't have many health or courage but as a mastermind.. working as a head of a droid army, he might be more vicious in command actions. He was the leader in a backstabbing empire so manipulating in a battle wouldn't be that too far fetched. Low health, low morale, low cost but high in command... I wouldn't mind trying that out. What do you think,??
