In canon, yes. In coolness? No, 100% Maul. They’ve done a fantastic job and picked 4 of the most popular characters for both factions, and you can bet your bacon Asaaj is coming soon

Maul has more recognition outside of TCW viewers. His sales potential was probably the better move, even if from a canon point of view it doesn't make sense. Saying all of that... I can't wait for Ventress.

If u really wanna maximize order tokens, u could add a second tactical commander. He would bring not only the extra order, but also 2 extra surge tokens pr turn and a plan b commander if you aggressive tactic guy dies :)

The fact that tactical droids are 1/3 the points cost of any other separatist commander is slightly ridiculous, there's just so many more oportunities for larger droid swarms or maybe even a relatively competitive double tank list

I enjoy the Radiation gun. I always imagine one of my sons clones limping around like the guy from Robocop after he hit the toxic waste tank and dropping after the turn is over. Plus 2 red is nice.

Yes absolutely, E5Cs statistically do as much damage as the rest of the unit, even more so with an aim. Rocket droids with HQ uplink is also a good long range unit capable of threatening the lighter armour units which rely on armour, like ATRTs, and throwing at reliable range 4 suppression. Don’t sleep on B1s, a unit with a 5C is 54 points, and I’ve seen them decimate ARCs, wound characters and throw out reliable suppression. If a unit with a 5C shoots twice (very easily done considering how scary the other killer units are), it will make its points back.

This list is kinda weak, unnecessary upgrades, no centerpiece, no tank killing potential. Mediocre at best
