I agree. There should be a lot more corps available so that you can do different themed armies. The separatists had a whole senate that could fight along side them. Yes, the droids were the main army, but there is a whole world beyond just the droid army.

What I want from Geneosian wave is to have Poggle the Lesser as leader, corps Geneosian unit with spears and no wings but very cheap and heavy in numbers, elite Geneosians with their iconic weapons and wings but costs more and less in numbers. Jango Fett as operative, heilfire droid as heavy vehicle and last but not least upgrade pack for b2s like more heavy weapons or even jetpacks.

I would love to see a rule where rebels could use old leftover battle droids, perhaps at a slight disadvantage and only a handful at a time. I think it would be really thematic for them to use whatever old wargear they can get their hands on, like the z6.

I'd love to see geonosians, their arena beasts, and cannons added. As well as the larger, or more specialized, combat droids like the hailfire. Trandosian units, Quaren units, and other well known species that joined the CIS.

I think your missing a more likely unit to show up in the LM-432 crab droid, the Droideka Sharpshooter, or the HMP droid gunship. I feel these may be likely as well.

I think Savage would be best as a merc who works with CIS since he started out as a Sep Agent/Assassin and then worked with his brother maul to build the shadow collective, Ventress is different as she is a separatist who then just goes off and works for herself and never really affiliated with any faction from what I know I also think another good core unit for seps would be Umbarans! They made great soldiers and would be very cool miniatures

Thought of it like a heavy unit that could somewhat work similar to the LAAT since we saw it transporting B2s in the Clone Wars. But i would much more like to see this massive gunplatform

I would think that the Crab Droid the Clone rodeos in episode 3, hellfire and spider tanks from episode 2 and obviously a squad of Genoisans. Jango I think needs to be in, if for nothing else other than fan service as he would sell loads, but with all the different mandalorians in the game, Din, boba, wren, super commandos etc.. He would be a perfect and natural inclusion, with the pose in episode 2 on kamino, jetting back wards with dual pistols

So I really like most of your idea but I've thought about this a lot and this is what I have on my speculation/wishlist. Gunray- I never could see him as a military commander but if we did I reckon it would make sense getting neimoidian guards who we see briefly in the clone wars and In episode 3 on mustafar. Gunray would be terrible in a fight but I could see his abilities reflecting his connections off the battlefield such as getting more supplies or influencing the senate to hinder the enemy. Id love t see a command card called "where are those droidekas" which allows a unit or two droidekas to roll in as rienforcements from a table edge for a cool flank. Maybe siince he doesnt fight he could get a unique personal upgrade for a bodyguard unit. It could be neimoidian guards by default or upgraded to magnaguards which have Gunray as the leader but non combatant and the guards as a squad for combat. If the guards die he automatically flees. Poggle/geonosians- They would need to be seperatists not mercs since they ultimately are seperatists. Poggle would give bonuses to other genosians and there could easily be a battleforce with them. Poggle as leader with geonosian warriors as core, flitknot speeders as support, LR1K sonic cannons as heavy stationary weapons and maybe even a unique piolet card for AATs. They could have a hivemind keyword which could give them special bonuses which the pilot card could give to AATs while removing AI. Sonic weapons would make sense to have immune to deflect but could be a bit strong. They fight with droids and make them so there should be little downsides having a mixed force in my opinion. Poggle should not be great in combat but be a good support leader for geonosian heavy lists. Savage- never occured to me but i reckon he'd be a great operative as well as ventress. He's bad with the force but should be slightly tanky and hits hard with either his ceremonial weapon or lightsabre. Since he was kind of a sleeper agent I would love a divulge card where he starts in the enemy army until a trigger reverts him back to your side, though i feel like this would be hard to impliment. Jango- I could see him as a clone wars era merc but I think being a seperatist makes more sense. Not much to add about him but I'd love seperatist mandos, maybe deathwatch+pre visla? Nightsisters- I don't think they work as seperatists. They "help" dooku but that was really just an assassination attempt and then they have a full battle with the seperatists. I think it woild be cool (though unlikely) to get a dathomir faction. Mother Talsyn as a leader with foce powers unique to her, maybe generic nighsister leader and ventress as a leader or operative. Daka (the one who summoned the zombies) would be a cool operative too. Sisters with bows/swords would be a mobile glass cannon core with nightbrothers. Dathomir also has rancors and other monsters which the sisters/brothers tame which would be excellent for support/heavy. Maybe a melee focus faction. I'll stop my ranting now, love your work Crabbok and will you be doing a speculation video about indipendant/mercenary units at all? Young Boba + Crew or Hondo's pirates would be great I reckon for that. Edit: almost forgot about Octuptarra tri-droids, hailfire droids and Spider droids as heavy units, as well as sniper droidekas .

A lot of great choices tbh, but genosians wouldn't be OP from having weapons they can't defect, as they have no force users of there own, at worst no deflection happens at all, beyond that if it was strong in it's starting state, genosians aren't exactly supposed to be durable, so they could easily have there core soldiers as fly equipped jump troops, making them the most mobile force, but also incredibly easy to kill when you are shooting them

A unit I'd love to see would be Vulture Droids, they could have a Droideka-stlye transform rule so they could fly around T-47 style or walk like a standard ground vehicle. Another unit I really wanna see is the LM-432 Crab Droids, they could be a melee focused vehicle which would be pretty unique, give them relentless and make the blasters mediocre but have then hit real hard in melee with Impact. Don't know if ether would be balanced but would be fun and great models to paint!

I like this list, I do think that many are likely. I would love to see geonosians as another core choice just to have a different army building options where you don't necessarily have to rely on coordinate. Droidekkas need something to make them more relevant, they are to order hungry and flimsy as it stands right now, so giving the separatist a commander that has direct or entourage for them would be great. Overall a lot of space still to expand the faction

A caution for the game, having played other miniature games that fall to this, is to have more units and less unique characters (and fewer variants of characters). There's an entire retail support problem that comes from having too many unique products that occupy space on shelves but just don't move, and this can really hurt a game if stores just start to only carry a skeleton crew of products. Instead, the game can ship to include more corps and other units that are more likely to be purchased multiple times or can be purchased across multiple contexts (multiple armies, few or no unique variants, etc).

I see Nute gunray only as a "Sep only" Command Cards, as a combatant his power is below zero ;) Geo is a must and was announced, so Poggle should be a commander who supports units like Capo. With Savage i second Marlos comment as Merc + included in nightsisters. Night sisters if Sep, should be standalone Battleforce.

I'm hoping for 2 Umbaran units one corps and one special forces. I'd like to see Savage and Talzin saved for a future Dathomir battle force. I think seeing some non-droid commands from the clone wars series would be good but I wouldn't want Trench because he is an admiral. Jango as an operative is a pretty obvious choice too.

I'd love to see 'huge' unit limited release that aren't competitive tournament legal. Each faction would get one. AT-AT for Empire, Droid Transport or Giant Droid spider for sep, AT-TE for republic, and rebels are a bit trickier-> but maybe a squad of xwings. But I'm a dreamer ..it'll never happen :(

They are prominently featured in the clone wars and are shown walking on solid ground on Kamino. There are also the Umbarans, hailfire droid, crab droid etc.!

Dathomirians should be Shadow Collective/Mercenary and not Seperatists(Ventress beeing the Exception), Maul beeing Seperatist barely makes sense as it is. They fought against them far more than they ever fought alongside them
