Crabs GALORE!! (catch and cook)

Ahoy Fisho's, This week the weather turned nasty dishing out plenty of rain, wind and swell, but that's ok because the crabs loved it! I set out with Chef Julian chasing a feed of delicious Blue Swimmer Crabs (sand crabs) to make one of his favorite dishes, a 'fancy' crab sandwich. I tell you what, it was definitely worth the effort!! Hope you enjoy the episode!

That was epic Sammy! Here in Charleston SC in the US right in my neighborhood I can go down to to the docks and catch 25-30 big blue crabs in a cpl of hours. We use a chicken neck on a string and a net. Nothing like a big crab boil in the backyard with plenty of cold brews!!😎👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nice crabs! I got spoilt in NQ years ago. We would go crabbing for muddies on Saturday and cook them up, then refrigerate overnight and fresh crab on hot bread from the bakehouse on Sunday.. YUM!

We call those crabs blueys down in here in South Oz and we also get another crab that we call sand crabs. The Sandies aren't as nice as the blueys. I should get some of your nets, we only use the open ones and you pull em every 20 minutes or so

It’s almost not worth crabbing anymore. Lucky you had rubbish weather to keep all the thieving grubs away. Every time I have dropped my pots in Moreton Bay they have been raided so you did well.

Hi, just a question on the I'd tag. I see that you have "info inside" wrote on them. Where do you place this info. I really hate the fact that we have to put our full address in the pots. I think that the boat rego should be enough for authorities. If they need to contact me they can go by that.
