Umidigi Power 5 - A good smartphone for less than $200?

just got this phone for my dad (3gb+64gb rom version) they are going for 130$ CAD with a 30$ off coupon so 100$ cad + tax pretty good price imo. i also just like umidigi for budget phones i've been using the A9 pro (6gb+128gb rom version) for a little over 2 years, great phone for the $220 i paid for it back in 2021 The screen is easily it's best feature being 1080 x 2340 resolution. looking at the Power 5 here it seems to just be a slightly toned down version of the pro 9. so i'm sure my dad will be happy with it's performance (hes coming from an iphone 5 so)

Oh, and I may have said previously, I have 2 Fujifilm Finepix S1 Pro cameras. Definitely odd beasts. Each takes 2 totally different cards and three different types of battery.

Nice video Scott.💪🏼 I'm actually filming a review of this phone this week as I had the opportunity to get the 128GB version for 90€, and so I got it as a early Christmas gift for my mom. Huge battery, big screen, looked great to not mull the trigger. I really found your review interesting, especially at the cameras section, because all my testes are in the nature as I'm from a rural area while yours are in the city. I can tell you, those sunny city photos look goood enough, much better than my experience as it does not like trees eheh (particularly in HDR, not very good at all). But the rest of the features make this such a good budget phone, haven't charged it once since I got it. 🤙🏼
