The power of words to control our emotions can be therapeutic to our mental health;
✅ “I'm here for you.”
✅ “You are not alone.”
✅ “You are worthy and deserving.”
✅ “You don't have to apologize.”
✅ “There is treatment available to you…”
✅ “You are strong!.”
I suffer from bipolar disorder. There are times that I experienced cyclical remission through music and motivational inspirational speech I was able to survive every stage of my cyclical depression. Inside Serene is my alter ego - my trusted friend a gatekeeper of my pandora's box of mindfulness that helps me overcome mental struggles.
" We must be willing to encounter darkness and despair when they come up and face them, over and over again if need be, without running away or numbing ourselves in the thousands of ways we conjure up to avoid the unavoidable". - By Jon Kabat-Zinn
✅ Be empowered ✅ Be intentional ✅ Be in control

It took me a few years, maybe more to warm up to this special & iconic human being. I kept switching out of these videos before I realized how very much I have to learn about myself,& others. Something about him kept calling me back & REALLY LISTEN. Now, so glad for the whatever that something was... May we all find the answers & realizations that we are searching for & the deep healing we need.

Looking back on a marriage to someone that self medicated. I am grateful for what I learned in the 24 yr marriage his relapse/recovery. Without the addiction I would have never come to my own awareness that his trauma was not mine to hold. Dr M speaks truth & has a higher understanding TY

With regards to cancer, in the late Louise L. Hay's book "You Can Heal Your Life," under "Probable Cause" for cancer it states: Deep hurt. Long standing resentment. Deep secret or grief eating away at the self. Carrying hatreds. "What's the use?" Under "New Thought Pattern": I lovingly forgive and release all of the past. I choose to fill my world with joy. I love and approve of myself." When someone has cancer, they need to also ask themselves, "What's eating me?"

WOW!!! for past year or so I've been taking against the word 'survivor' but couldn't explain properly why I didn't like it. I can't wholly get my head around Gabor's explanation of why it's not an OK description, but I'm getting nearer to understanding why it's not a good descriptor.

Nature is Fitness, a tool of Truth. She shows us Fitting potential or usability. That leads to continuity of Magic. We are to be Wonderer from a Wanderer....Just that....be amazed in wonder of her Magic weaved around & we then don't see the trick nor the magician....we are spectators to Respect & Wonder....said easily, which turns around as pain later....thus we add diction in life as an addict, we carry from others & add to it....that's the Design, from Genes to Spirit it's weaved all around...the show must go on...

Sleep guided meditation wholeheartedly works to experience this "enlightenment" "awareness" Eureka or ah-ha moment. I experienced a spectrum of feelings from ecstatic to betrayal, dumbfounded, and content. Fluctuation of touch and go, fading in and out from awareness then pulled back to old way of thinking, back and forth. 4 nights just listening to KZbin sleep guided meditation videos while sleeping. I woke and no longer suffered from my lifelong debilitating anxiety. With a handful of pills, which I would take by a systematic alarm, I no longer needed, and desired. That is when I felt betrayed, the fact that it was that easy, that I created a hardship making me believe I was addicted.

25:00 Along the Tibetan concept that we are all Buddhas. That there is nothing to accomplish. That we all possess all that is needed. That we are all highly advanced. It's rediscovering it. Similar to the Hindu/Yoga concept of Self-realization. 30:00 Be the Seer, not the Seen. Not being dictated by the cause and condition.

The most important thing IMO is finding and Cultivating a relationship with the Ultimate Ideal, seeking anything else is second best ( at best ) God is my Ultimate Ideal. If I put my needs or attachments on anything else they will fail me. God is the author of Love, Harmony, Bliss, and Sustenance . My NDE showed me this.

Everything comes down to self respect/integrity and without that there’s no respect for others either. From what I’ve observed in people with addictions there’s a preexisting immaturity in the dna already so an available market only makes that worse be it drugs alcohol even religion all of which have control issues.

39:40 not a reference to fascism IMHO. Sounds more like a refence to evil, a religious perspective which post modernists rejected. I'm kind of stunt that a lot of references Gabor uses are coming from ideologists who threw religion like the baby with the bath water. The state was elevated to religious sanctity to the eyes of people which led to genocide btw. Ironically the same social cancer3 that affected Gabor childhood. I like Gabor a lot though.

I don't recall Jesus saying that which I bring out of you shall save you. He said the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth and if you continue in my word you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Holy Spirit is not resident in all people. He is invited in when you receive Jesus as your Lord and saviour. Although he does talk to people and heal them. They still need to receive what Jesus has done for them. The spirit of man lays dormant until he us born again and reconciled to God.

Anyone seriously studying the history of the human species knows that we evolved as clan-living migratory Hunter-Gatherers, who numbered 1/3000 th of our current massively overpopulated numbers. That clan/band social structure has been lost/replaced by our urban chaos, which leaves many (most?) of us chronically stressed, alienated and painfully alone. Little wonder why our youth are addicts, addicted to (anti-)social media and meaningless video games, mass entertainments, corporate controlled manipulations to increase consumption, and, on the whole, a waste of time. This is the worst video presentation by my dear Gabor, filled with sarcasm and "entertainment". Gabor's weak point is spirituality, or any mention of a personal relationship with a higher power, god, angels, or spiritual aspects of our world.
