I love that this doctor doesn't blame the person for getting sick. I now know why I recently was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder

I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I had no idea how trauma, a bad 25 year marriage, and being strong for too long has jeopardized my health. How do I reduce stress and mind body harmony to improve my health.

The Enemy Occupied Media has been weaponized against people to induce stress, fear, and compliance. Our species will level up when we identify the Global Death Dealers, Transhumanists, and recognize the dignity of all life from inception to natural death.

I didn't get the best start in life, and so I spent my 30s in self-healing/self-development. I created a very healthy and peaceful life for myself, which made me believe I will live a longer life. Then in my 40s I realised that the world is f***ed and I'm not so sure anymore I want to live a long life. Ohh...

I suffer from chronic pain. that is in my bones and muscles. Doctors have me on pain medicine and muscle relaxers for it. I don't know if stress has anything to do with my chronic pain. I have a good sense of humor for many things in life and hopefully I process angr properly. I've been married for almost 35 years and my husband is a good person and doesn't get angry if I don't get thing's done around the apartment when I'm real tired or in a lot of pain. This helps me not be overly stressed. I just came across this video and I'm really interested in what Dr. Gabor has to say. I'm interested in the book "When The Body Says No: The Cost of Hidden Stress". Maybe this can help reduce some of the pain I'm dealing with. 😊

Both someone can set boundaries upon themselves and their health AND they can still be nice within those boundaries that "Mother Nature" has already set upon a human being. Ignoring Maslow's theory is dangerous.

Usually the most direct approach to a problem is the most effective. In this case, simply say NO when you feel the need to do so. Ingenious. In all seriousness. I will apply this simple wisdom from now on without exception. 👍

Women are programmed to be caregivers amd sacrifice our needs for the needs of others. We're taught to be nice and keep peace.

That's all very well, but as Gabor Mate himself says, if your carrying a lot of childhood trauma you need the help of a practitioner/therapist - you can't do it on your own. It doesn't matter if its Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry, Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing, Richard Schwartz's Internal Family Systems, or any other similar trauma-informed therapy, the more trauma you carry, the more sessions you are going to need, and the more expensive it will be, and unfortunately most people who are suffering from depression, addictions etc don't have that sort of money, so are these therapies really a viable solution?
@janetkinosian4 күн бұрын
This is the key truth...and a big conundrum....
@AwakenedEmptiness2 күн бұрын
All of these therapies focus on the mind... the only viable solution is going beyond the mind or the ego transcending the psychology. Even Buddha who was fully enlightened continued to practice self inquiry, mindfulness, or meditation. Simply because as long as we live the ego mind will try to trick us into giving our energy to the the mind rather than consciousness. As someone who deals with trauma I can confirm that a practice is necessary of understanding the egos psychological tendencies. This is so the mind is seen through and able to dissolve the psychological barrier which is all the ego or the mind is. It takes practice and a life long commitment but it reduces suffering which is psychological again of the mind or thought. Pain will always be there as long as our lifetime but how we choose to deal with it to be reactive to triggers or the trauma. Or to respond to the suffering of that wound with understanding. That is that love is understanding as they say. And all we need is love.

The profound realization of Buddha is to discover, we as ordinary suffering beings have long possessed wrong ideas of being a Self. As long as the self exists, the feelings in terms of all kinds of suffering are bound to manifest! There’re meditative methods in variety, are providing access for us to experience the Self as an illusory conceptualized subject. As long as we are no longer to hold on to this I, me, mine, the attachment reduced, the aversion reduced. The way how we perceive our moment by moment life can be uplifting to a whole new scope of Being, in stead of Doing. When we possess and maintain ourselves in the state of Awareness, we are unlabeled to any identities that we have accumulated in the past experiences or future projections. 🪷🪷🪷😇🙏

250 ml aspirin will be sufficient to get rid of shoulder /arm pain???
@angieguffey62554 күн бұрын
I take Ibuprofen for pain/ inflammation and it helps me. I will take either 400, or 600 milligrams. Other people take Tylenol but it’s not good for your liver. Also, a good muscle rub cream like BenJay or Icee Hot. There are lots of things on the market to help you. But if you’re having severe pain, you should go to your doctor or to the hospital for X-rays. I hope this helps some. God bless you 🙏

I am living with chronic pain and auto immune problems. My wonderful GP has talked to me for yrs and yrs about my stress. About how I do and also do not handle it. She is from Europe , although has spent her adult life living in the US. Her approach to treating me is different from American born and raised drs. I’ve always known/ “felt” she is 100% correct but have not tried therapy. I recognize that I am not acting logically by refusing to seek the help she has recommended. The thought of therapy scares me. So it follows that the onus is on me to take control of my healing.

I spent my childhood terrorised by my narcissistic mother. Grew up suppressing my anger or upset and people pleasing. Did all the overtime at work and more people pleasing. Ended up with MS aged 41. Now people say it's made me bitter because I'm actually enforcing boundaries for the first time, pushing toxic people away and doing things that make *me* happy rather than putting other people's interest first.
