CRADLE MOUNTAIN 2 Day Travel Itinerary - Tasmania

I live in Hobart and do this trip a few times a year. I absolutely recommend taking the route up the Midlands Highway, through Ross, Campbelltown, lunch at the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm near Elizabeth, drive through to Sheffield (stop and look at the murals) and then 50 minutes on to Cradle Mountain. Takes 5-6 hours. I totally agree that Cradle Mountain deserves a few days. It's impossible to really appreciate it on a day trip as some people do it.

Awe thank you soo much!! Yeah peppers is the closest and much more convenient, we would have stayed there if it wasn’t booked out. You’ll have to head back to Tasmania, is such an adventure!
