I personally really like it when bands do different styles instead of making every song the exact same it's a big reason why I love bands like Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold (don't make fun of me) Avatar, Jinjer, or weird subgenres like Pirate Metal bands such as Alestorm and even better Stormseeker. I like it when a band releases something new and you've got no clue what it will be, a lot of bands every song is essentially the same, don't get me wrong I still love bands such as say ACDC but there's no variety it's all the same gets boring after awhile.

If you're not a troll then I shall inform you that Cradle of Filth is a metal band. The sub genre of metal, for them, has changed over the years; starting as Death Metal in their early years, Symphonic Black Metal in their mid years, and currently labeled as Extreme Metal. All of their music generally has dark, gothic, horror type feel to it and many say that Cradle of Filth is a gothic metal band. Either way they're a metal band, not rock.
