There were a few missteps (looking at you Thornography and Manticore). Yet, mostly bands who've been around for as long as them (33 years, I think) are phoning in new material (or not putting it out) so they can go out and make money touring.

CoF have the fire back in a big way. They started displaying this beginning with "Hammer of the Witches" and took it from there, and I'm glad to see they're keeping it up. The female vocal solo bit early on in this one took me back to the olden days of Cradle where they had that delightfully stilted Goth girl vibe to them! Perfect spooky season/Halloween music, and the music reminded me of "From The Cradle to Enslave" in a great way. Dani obviously can't shriek like he used to, but he's making good use of what he's got, and making it work well. Nice work, lads (and lady)!

Like for real their whole image these days is corny as hell. We have dani copying carach angren. Never been a fan of their corpse paint or music. The rest of the band looks like their corpse paint was designed by an artistically challenged teenager. Then we have pinhead who sticks out like a sore thumb.
