Fun fact: they used the actress as the keyboard player because they didn't have one. Ashley Ellyllon was gone and Caroline Caz didn't joined CoF until 2011. This all happened in late 2010. Good old times.

They newer albums are great, but so is their really old stuff and while this album might be highly hated, I still love it (and this song is among my favorites, as well as the Elder Version of it).

Music changes just like people do. The progression of the music styles shows how good of a band Cradle of Filth really is. They continue to put out excellent music that makes me love this band so much more than the bands that continue to release the same album every two years instead of working on their sound and making something new and unique. Cradle of Filth keeps pushing the boundaries with their musical creativity, and I applaud them for it.

He's not wearing glitter. If you watch the making of vids, he's wearing gravel. Cradle Of Filth has never had a downfall. Some songs they did experiment but, none of them were horrible. They will always be a badass black metal band.

For me, CoF is utterly relaxing. Queen of Winter throned for example, has everything to ease out any pressure acumulated. No screams, no rampage nor crying - I just close my eyes, my head sunken in my arms and piece for piece, I am better.

I've been a fan of Cradle of Filth since 2002. Bitter Suites to Succubi was my introduction to the band along with Cruelty and the Beast. The band has matured and while they don't sound like they did 1997-2002, they still release consistent heavy records. One of the best metal bands of the past 20 years.

For those who are constantly categorizing Cradle of Filth by genre..You really don't know them well. They do not categorize themselves at all. The closest thing you can say is that they are an extreme metal band. They are a British Black Metal band with powerful Gothic elements. Being a 12 year fan, it just irks me when people call them anything but. They stand alone in the Metal world, and cannot be compared to any other band out there.. Ever. They deserve proper recognition of who they are.

@tsherrill2019 Cradle was never meant to sound like a regular black metal band. It always had much more melody than other extreme metal bands. This mix of melody, symphony and extreme metal elements gives the song the correct gothic atmosphere. It's sooooooo much better than regular extreme metal.

I feel repulsed by their current style. Whats important - their music is still interesting and good in general! but when i look on what they produce now and compare it to their old stuff.... i feel like their first albumes were not from this world and not from the same people that live today. Dani is not the same man too. Like someone switched the real Dani with this one. I remember the emptiness i saw in his eyes on the latest concert in my country. I felt like he is not the person i saw and heard in the old records. I was hoping to see something in his eyes. I was never so dissappointed. Same with all the people under the stage. An empty crowd without eyes and faces.

@GHeroandRScape I think that their best song os Nymphetamine, I love Her Ghost In The Fog too But if you like more Black Metal you have to hear "Malice trough the looking glace" "Dusk and her embrace" "Beauty Slept in Sodom" "Haunted Shores" And one of their best songs "Cruelty brought thee orchides" If you dont like music so black you might like "The death of the love" "The 13 Caesar" and "Babylon AD" Well, that's my opinion..all of them are my favorites xD
