LYRICS: Led to the river midsummer, I wave A "V" of black swans on, with hope, to the grave And through red September, with skies fire-paved I begged you appear like a thorn for the holy ones Cold was my soul and untold was the pain I faced when you left me a rose in the rain So I swore to the razor that never enchained Would your dark nails of faith be pushed through my veins again Bared on your tomb, I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon come above unto me? For once upon a time, from the binds of your lowliness I could always find the right slot for your sacred key Six feet deep is the incision In my heart, that barless prison Discolors all with tunnel vision (Sunsetter) Nymphetamine Sick and weak from my condition This lust, this vampiric addiction To her alone in full submission (None better) Nymphetamine Nymphetamine, nymphetamine Nymphetamine girl Nymphetamine, nymphetamine My nymphetamine girl Wracked with your charm, I'm circled like prey Back in the forest where whispers persuade More sugar trails, more white lady laid Than pillars of salt Fall to my arms, hold their mesmeric sway And dance out to the moon as we did in those golden days Christening stars, I remember the way We were needle and spoon, mislaid in the burning hay Bared on your tomb, I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon come above unto me? For once upon a time, from the bind of your holiness I could always find the right slot for your sacred key Six feet deep is the incision In my heart, that barless prison Discolors all with tunnel vision (Sunsetter) Nymphetamine Sick and weak from my condition This lust, this vampiric addiction To her alone in full submission (None better) Nymphetamine Nymphetamine (None better) Nymphetamine Nymphetamine, nymphetamine Nymphetamine girl Nymphetamine, nymphetamine My nymphetamine girl

Cradle of Filth are an English extreme metal band, formed in Suffolk, England in 1991. The band's musical style evolved originally from black metal to a cleaner and more "produced" amalgam of gothic metal, symphonic metal and other metal genres. Their lyrical themes and imagery are heavily influenced by Gothic literature, poetry, mythology and horror films. The band has gone through many lineup changes, with vocalist Dani Filth being the only constant member. The band has broken free from its original niche by courting mainstream publicity. This increased accessibility has brought coverage from the likes of Kerrang! and MTV, along with frequent main stage appearances at major festivals such as Ozzfest, Download and even the mainstream Sziget Festival. They have sometimes been perceived as Satanic by casual observers, even though their outright lyrical references to Satanism are few and far between; their use of Satanic imagery has arguably always been more for shock value than any seriously-held beliefs. Damnation and a Day (subtitled From Genesis to Nemesis...) is the fifth studio album by English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. It was released on 10 March 2003 and is Cradle of Filth's only album on a major label, Sony Records, after which they transferred to Roadrunner. It features the one hundred and one-piece Budapest Film Orchestra including the forty-piece Budapest Film Choir. The album is partly based on John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost. In addition to the Miltonic arc, the album also features stand-alone tracks such as the Nile tribute "Doberman Pharaoh" and the Aleister Crowley-influenced "Babalon A.D. (So Glad for the Madness)". Nymphetamine is the sixth studio album by Cradle of Filth. Recorded between February and July 2004, it was released on 28 September by record label Roadrunner. Nymphetamine marks the first recorded appearance of guitarist James McIlroy on a Cradle of Filth album. He would later record guitar for the band's 2010 release Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa. Nymphetamine is also the band's final album to feature keyboardist Martin Powell. Damnation And A Day and Nymphetamine are the only two albums I have on my discography, in CD format. Especially Damnation And A Day I am honored to have four copies because it is the Cradle Of Filth album that I like the most. As for Nymphetamine, I have the Special Edition with both CDs! Thank you, Dani Filth, for your music and your poetry! I hope you will always be active, because you are the best Extreme Metal band in the world, and I am your fan! I've already had almost all of your albums but I offered them because I'm only really interested in Damnation And A Day (four copies in CD format) and Nymphetamine (Special Edition with two CDs) and Nymphetamine (Standard Edition)!! 🖤🖤🖤

Ah, a powerful recollection of my favourite masterpiece by Cradle of Filth, Nymphetamine Fix. It was a dark October, and I, a young crow in gothic ascent, was watching Resident Evil: Apocalypse. As expected, to know the soundtrack in the end credits, it introduced me to the precursors of my immersion into the metal subgenre: Cradle of Filth, Slipknot, DevilDriver, Killswitch Engage, and others. To this day, this Metal/Goth subculture has become indelible and inherent to my existence, inescapably shaping my path. For those from a Christian family, the awakening to occult arts represents an unparalleled singularity, a journey few undertake. Moreover, this band is part of my existence in nefariously formidable ways, imprinting itself in the depths of my nefarious soul.
