I love Robin egg blue, that is probably the color I would choose. You said you wished you had a green egg, you could have painted your own. I like the pale yellow that you used, or perhaps it’s tan, hard to tell. I love how you added feathers and twigs, just like Mama bird would do! I love that you made your nest neutral, resembling nature. I just love everything about your project. I am so inspired to make one. Thank you.

I had no idea you could wrap the twine first and then, put the glue on, I always saturated the twine first and what a mess. This is a great idea Kathy. It is absolutely stunning, your attention to detail makes your projects over the top, I cannot imagine how much this would cost in a store. Your other bird nests a beautiful as well. That was a wonderful idea making your own little eggs, they're perfect. I have 2 generations of Parakeets, and two are always trying to start another family, because they've had two broods, I can't let them have any more. I take the eggs, put tiny holes in them and after washing, I blow the insides out. Then I put mod podge on them to save. I'm going to use them in decor for Spring. (I apologize for talking so much) Kathy, I absolutely love this tutorial, thank you so much for sharing. 🐦💟

ALL of your bird’s nests are so pretty and very creative. You have inspired me to do something with mine. Years ago, my husband found a nest on the ground beside our house. It is made of twigs, intricately woven together. He brought it to me to see if I wanted to do something with it. I did spray it with polyurethane so it would stay together and it’s been sitting on a bookshelf every since. I really should do something with it. It needs a bird!Thanks for the inspiration! 😊🐦👍🏻

So happy to hear from you . The sta-Flo starch is easy you just wrap the balloon like you do with jute than pour sta -Flo starch in a big bowl soaking it well and let in dry over night. You are amazing all the creations you make and of course Coco is perfect . Thanks Sharon you make my day!
