Just a thought about your beautiful baby blanket. Try decreasing the amount of stitches across the top and bottom , as well as a smaller needle size and maybe it will sit flatter against the cabling. I’ve done that in the past and it worked a treat.

Hi Abbie! Wow! Everything is so gorgeous! You know you inspired me to make a C2C blanket like yours. I decided to have a solid border of my background color and then I get into the checkerboard pattern. It took a minute to get used to, but I am finally getting the hang of how the colors should go for the pattern. Thanks for sharing all of your awesome projects. 🤩👍🏽🤗

Hi Lori! The c2c blanket is so snuggly. I think you can buy the king Cole patterns online but they don’t make it easy. To be honest it was probably my mistake 😂 I hope work wasn’t to hectic for you 😊

Hi Abbie, your c2c battenburg blanket is gorgeous. The knitted baby blanket is beautiful, I'm sure it will be well loved. I absolutely love your socks. They look to be quite an intricate pattern. I'm just going to continue making vanilla socks until I'm fully confident before trying something else. Take care and hugs for Buddy x

Lovely to meet you! I live across the “Pond” then across the continent to the state of Idaho in the U.S. Your blanket with the C2C squares is looking lovely ! Learning C2C is on my to do list soon! Any advice?

Lovely too meet you! Tutorials I recommend for C2C are Jayda In Stitches or My Yarny Corner. It can seem overwhelming doing C2C stitch but just break it down and focus on one step at a time.
