That’s a good point about emphasizing products are one of a kind and hand crafted. Not sure customers assign enough value to that but you are right that it’s good to point that out. I do think it’s ironic that we tout hand crafted but to make our creations sell better it helps to package in cellophane with cardboard headers. It just looks so professional and more attractive. Maybe it’s because that’s what we are used to.

Great observation with your comment on packaging! Yes, I’d be willing to bet that there’s definitely some kind of consumer psychology involved with packaging. Even the idea of unwrapping can be an exciting experience. Look at how many “unboxing” videos exist now - people are definitely into it.

@@howtocraftfair kind of hard to figure with the anti-plastic trend but I think you’re right-maybe it’s a tactile thing. Or with covid ppl like items to be wrapped. I’m ok with it
