OK...I have a LOT of Christmas paper but no actual printed card stock which would be heavy enough to make these. So what I did was cut my 2"x8.5" base from solid card stock and then cut a strip of the printed paper 1.75" wide. This then was glued on to the plain card stock, leaving a solid edge (kind of like matting). I then scored and continued to decorate just as you demonstrated. Another thing I did was use pre-tied glitter bows from Dollar Tree (card of 12) that are on a wire tie...which saved time tying my own ribbon. (This was quite by accident as I was planning to use these for another project but how perfect for these lolly pops!) When I get them completed I will try to remember to share a photo. Just thought I'd share my suggestions. LOVE THESE!!!!!!!!

hi Amber! I recently found your channel and now I'm obsessed! I never thought of participating in craft fairs to sell my creations and it just adds a little reward to doing what I love. I really like the Christmas items, they are so much fun and bring such joy. I think I'll try just a few items this year since I'm getting a late start and really be prepared for next year. Thanks so much, you are so sweet and give such good tips.

What a great Team!!! (Even tho there is a battle of the glue guns going on.) LOL. I use a Surebonder glue gun. It has a tiny tip that allows you more control of the glue. I got tired of gluing my fingers together. Your tutorial was absolutely fun and on my list to make. Also, I LOVE the entertainment between you two. It’s worth paying for..👍🥴🎄💜

Thanks for the video! Just want to check measurements...8.5 x 2 inches will give you two longer sections on the ends. Should they be even squares when scored? If so, 8 x 2?
@lyriclovercrafts5 жыл бұрын
Correct. They are not even squares. That’s why I mentioned in the video that folding them in half twice would not work. You will need to score them to the way I showed in the video for the folds to work out. Thanks!

Where did you find the little embellishments?

I luv these and made some for Halloween and Christmas and didn’t sell very many at my craft fairs. I thought they would make great classroom gifts. I guess my area just didn’t like them.
