Nice! I hope you were able to get refills for your little finger detail knife at HL (Hobby Lobby) as they had those and the Refills on clearance last week. Oh, HL also is still selling that same cardstock pad for this year as well. Hot glue is a great alternative to 1/8" or 1/4" super sticky tape. This may be the easier way to go. I had been using the super sticky double-sided tape that has the red backing. 😉

You're so clever. These are fantastic. The way you finished it solved a problem I had with a vintage box with a broken lid. It was an inexpensive jewelry box made from a card stock and hinged with paper. Over the years the hinge cracked and broke. I'm going to add a sturdy tape to the inside and outside and cover it with corresponding paper and decorate the same way you finish the tops of your pads. Thanks!

I love your little pads and couldn't wait to try them out. Went to DT and found the pad. Well, they are 6 x 9 now so I had to cut 1/4" of a side and the bottom to make the dimensions work. UGH! my cuts are not nearly as pretty as yours. You make it look so effortless. I had cut the Chip Board to your dimensions before I knew the pad was slightly larger. My chipboard was exactly the size of your dimensions so I didn't have any extra little pieces. I just had some chipboard from something - not sure where it came from. Will have to finish these tonight hopefully.

You made me laugh out loud when you said smushy. 🤣 I would like to know your preference for gluing the pages together: glue gun or reptile glue? I've seen you use both on projects. These skinny baby note pads are darling and truly any reason, any season, any gender plus so inexpensive to create. So classy and so FUN! I enjoy making things like this to give as a small token of appreciation to people like our sweet mail carrier or others including friends and family. Thank you, Sherry, for your truly wonderful tutorials. 💙

This was my first attempt at one of your projects and oh what a mess I made! The reptile glue was looser than I expected and it ran all over my book. Then I ruined the first page because the reptile glue ran like a snake all over the first page and didn't stay in the spine where I wanted it to! OMG! Back to try again!! I'm having fun learning something new!
