You’re amazing for even taking anything! I’d be way too overwhelmed and leave it all ❤

Hahah thank you! I know I’ll be bored being on the passenger’s side. I usually drive 😅

Speaking from someone who recently packed 5 WIPs hehe I say pack it all so you know you have it but then it may also end up that you don’t do a whole heap? You will also find more yarn along the way too? I’d pack the Florence sweater for sure, 3 weeks to complete a sweater is a great time and the dopamine of that being done and then the memories of knowing it was holiday time. Also a small project for the ease of taking it about. Then one sewing too - I’d leave the beads for home post trip (ps it’s actually been beautiful and warm here up until today so pack a variety of things for clothing too)

I agree with Sammi, take everything apart from the scraps. There is plenty of cutting out to do with the EPP project.

Yay!!! English paper piecing 😍 I started my first one back in May. I took it away with me for my 50th birthday week in June. It’s sooooo addictive. Don’t glue them on, hand tack them instead.
@Le_YvetteАй бұрын
Why is glue not a good idea? Also milestone birthday, that’s exciting!
@oureclecticlifeАй бұрын
@@Le_Yvette because, when it comes time to removing the paper, the glue can stick a bit too much.

Minimum of 3 knitting projects, at least one small one like the colourwork hat. Definitely the EPP - I baste hexes a LOT in the car and I stitch baste rather than glue. The linen scraps might be a bit more complex because you will want to iron the fabric. Could you take a craft iron and ironing pad as well? The beads might be a bit fiddly for on the road. Definitely your journal and the craft books because as you read the books you are going to be inspired and might want to do some project planning. So excited for all of your adventures!

That’s a good point. I do have a craft iron and mini board but that would get fiddly.

The only think I wouldn’t take (based on what you said) is the scraps. Unless you have a space up and away you can keep them from little hands that may want to throw them everywhere 😏
@Le_YvetteАй бұрын
That’s true and is a concern for me too. But currently they tend to go in that basket to throw all the fabric out anyway 😂

It's a personality thing, but I would feel so stressed taking many projects with me. It'd feel like a long to do list. I would take only a few that I knew I could get through.
@Le_YvetteАй бұрын
It’s the compromise between variety and not being overwhelmed that I’m always trying to find the balance of 😅

@@Le_Yvette good luck! Looking forward to the video saying what you actually made ☺️

Is it time to start hand sewing hexagons and make a hexi quilt 🤔
@JustMaddyThings-MАй бұрын
Oh never mind, you mention it at 10 minutes I got too ahead of myself 😂

Bahahah I love that. It’s something I’d do on a video 😂
