Hey sir! Now THANK YOU so much for covering the Raptor rig, I truly appreciate you for that :) Also happy to hear you enjoy rocking the holster and I hope it'll serve you well for years to come! Regards, Al

Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. Both are very special coming from the manufacturer.

I just had mine delivered 30 min ago and I already love it ! I just put my Glock 26 in a plastic bag then in the holster to break it in !! It was pretty tight to thread onto my belt but after a few try’s it is already breaking up 😊😊😊😊

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I hope that you like the "Raptor" holster. When new, they are a bit of a pain to get onto the belt, but worth the effort. I like the degree of cant, not too far forward and not too up and down - angled just right.

Very interesting and I was ready to go online to check them out until you said no left handed models,,,,,,,too bad….

Thanks for watching, Bill. Unfortunately, no left handed versions. If the demand is great enough, perhaps they will. You might want to contact their custom shop to see if one could be made. It never hurts to ask.

In street survival schools they will tell you cross draw is a dangerous way to carry as you are presenting the firearm to the bad guy if he walks up to you and pops you or if you have to grab someone and their hands are free, it is one of the first things they will grab (not good) They do have their place like driving, but I would be afraid to EDC a cross draw.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I really had to think about my response to your comment. Carrying cross-draw is still tactically sound. It's all in how you cross-draw carry. Some carry with the holster far forward so that the butt of the gun is across their lap, which leads to the butt of the firearm possibly being exposed. Some, like myself, cross-draw carry with the holster being more to the rear over the hips, as would be a shoulder-holster carry. The angle of the holster is also important. A slight forward angle makes the butt of the firearm more accessible when sitting or standing, but that doesn't seem to be your concern. Your concern seems to be geared more toward handgun retention in dynamic situations. Personally, I would consider 'Appendix Carry' more of a concern over that of strong-side hip or shoulder-holster (vertical or horizontal) carry. I would also place more concern with open carry and a non-secure holster than I would with a concealed, cross-draw carry. As a former LEO and Defensive Tactics Instructor, I have seen secure holsters worn by LEO ripped off their belts - and that was during handgun retention training. I consider handgun retention training a most important part of the responsibility of carrying a handgun and that anyone who carries a firearm, whether business-related or not, indulge in a handgun retention training session, or at least be intimately familiar with the concepts involved. I carry concealed and sometimes deeply concealed. You will not see my firearm, regardless of how I carry, until I am ready to reveal its presence to you. What is important to understand, regardless of mode of carry, are the positive and negative traits of each method of carry and how they can work for you or against you. If you are not confident with a carry-method, regardless of the method, don't use it. While I am not a fan of Appendix Carry, simply because I think that it is a dangerous location to carry, I am not going to totally discredit it, as it seems to work for some. It does not work for me. As for "Street Survival Schools", I don't put much stock in them. What is learned from them should only be used as fodder for developing your own street survival skills. And like any martial arts training, should be a combination of knowledge and skill developed over time and not construed as a say-all, end-all matter. Again, thanks for watching and commenting. I hope that my opinion provides food for thought.

Excellent video, I like craft holsters and will most likely get one ! I currently wear a carjacker cross draw from Andrews custom leather. It snaps on the belt for easy removal in case I’m going somewhere where you can’t carry 😊 thank you

Thanks for watching and commenting. The "Raptor" is slid onto the belt, quite tightly when new. However, I like the angle that it holds the firearm, more straight than most cross-draw holsters, but the firearm is easily accessible. It's less likely to reveal the firearm, as long as proper clothing is worn.

Nice video, but a little lengthy. Maybe try skipping each Intro section and just get to the meat of the next topic without an Intro for it.
