I love how you logically decide and categorize what you want to keep and what to let go of. I am currently in the process of purging stuff in my Craftroom. And it’s been months 😅 I will try your style and hope it will help speed it up in my end. 🤞🏻

Yes! It really helps to have direction when you approach this process.

I've just stumbled on your channel and am a new subscriber. I LOVE purging my room and do it at least 3 or 4 times a year, and I'm brutal! HA!

Welcome! I probably need to do mine more often. It’s one of those things that I dread doing even though I’m so much happier with the results.

Good golly, that's a lot of sequins!

Yes! I wish I’d known so many things when I started more modern scrapping! I am glad that I tried new things though too.

Necessary, I’m afraid! My new house is 2/3 the size of the old house.

This was great…I never thought about the thickness of dots but lump &bump isn’t a big problem for me. How you went through the sequins was really interesting and I have lots to weed through…thanks!😊

Yes! I have a few layouts with photos that have been damaged by those lumps and bumps and it makes me crazy! 😵💫

I’ve watched your purge videos with minimal pain. But this was too much to bare 😂😂 enamel dots are my jam. The one thing that is so versatile it can go with everything
@lauraalbertscrafts10 ай бұрын
Completely understandable! They are so pricey! Thankfully, I don’t intend to buy more and they will still be loved by someone else.

It’s important to know what you like and what you will use. Even if we are all different in our preferences!

Loved hearing you work through these supplies but man does it hurt my heart to hear you say you're not a fan of green, especially that light green 😔😂 Questions: Through this purging series, did you find your journaling genie? Or am i just late to the party and those have been located long ago lol 😂 Also, given there are a couple things (like sequins and enamel dots) we haven't seen you include in any kits recently, will you be adding some of these stashed away goodies to any kits you make in the near future? Or are those more of a page by page embellishment to add? Always lovely to sneak a peak into your crafty world, thank you for sharing 💖

For me, it's more of a bright green that I don't love. Soft greens and dark greens I do like! Oh my gosh, I have a theory about the journaling genies. I never found them, I think they may have fallen into the back of my drawers, but I can't pull out the drawers to look! I do include enamel dots fairly regularly, but I do need to add sequins more often!

Love these videos. What if there is one row of color of enamel dots that you like? Would you consider cutting them out? You could put them in a package with the same company.
@lauraalbertscrafts10 ай бұрын
You absolutely could! If I was still interested in enamel dots, I probably would. I’m trying to limit myself as much as possible.

I love my enamel dots and sequins,I will never purge them.
@lauraalbertscrafts10 ай бұрын
If I had the room for them, I certainly would have kept more!
@Cre8iveCindy11 ай бұрын
Are you doing grab boxes? I love green and there would be a lot of it in each box. 😂
@lauraalbertscrafts10 ай бұрын
Lol! There definitely would be! No, I donated everything to the local schools and women’s shelter. A lot of it was design team product and I didn’t feel it would be ethical to sell it.

How do you use sequences? I only see them in cards. This is a great "service". ❤
@lauraalbertscrafts10 ай бұрын
I use them like enamel dots and add them to stitching mostly.
@pamnichols426810 ай бұрын
I don’t know how you do it Laura,mI know you need too. I difinitely need to.

It’s purely out of necessity! My space is much much smaller than at the old house.

I've just starting getting into enamel dots and sequins. I'm addicted. Painful to watch you get rid of them. 😢
@lauraalbertscrafts10 ай бұрын
Understandable! They are lovely, but I have to be realistic with the space I have and what I use.
@tammyhagon86510 ай бұрын
@lauraalbertscrafts I understand. My space is full but I still have to get more pretty things. I am hoping over winter break I can organize it better.
