Gotta try these tags! Thanks for the tip on not fussy cutting the bird beaks til glueing - that would work well for butterfly antennae, too. So glad to hear your grand baby is thriving! Prayer works 💜

I love that you shared with us how you collage. So pretty. I think the tags that have the pretty roses showing don’t need anything else. The roses are the focal point. But you do Gayle! When my daughters were tweens we picked the lousiest weather day (rainy, windy, cold), made food, drove to the local park, and sat in the very back of our Suburban SUV to have a picnic. The girls loved it as we sat eating traditional picnic food while the bad weather stormed around us. So eating tuna sammies in the parking lot of a ritzy school would be right up our alley.

The tags are gorgeous! I vote to leave the new collaged tags as they are (aside from some “heavy” inking and a topper) because they are so pretty! I’m so glad to hear Bucky is getting chunky and doing well. I know you and Mr. A as well as Bucky’s parents are so relieved. It is amazing what God can do!

This is a beautiful collage Gayle. Little washcloth in a tiny container soaked with vinegar and water...you get sticky wipe your fingers on it and all glue is gone. Cleans your desk and scissors as well. Also helps get ink off you, might take a couple times for ink but it works.

I've made collage tags and not put anything else on them because they looked already complete. I agree with the three you picked, Gayle. The other two do need a little something extra, though. And I love the technique of making the tags this way. It does simplify the whole process.

Had to have a giggle at your toilets story. We were in NYC 4 years ago with a massive group from Australia. The Australian Cake Decorating Network. Well we were invited to an 'invite only' club to have lunch. It was very posh. We rocked up, sweating our butts off, all in hot pink t shirts and they snuck us down to the private room downstairs. What we were all impressed with was the toilets! 😂😂😂 we took turns going and checking them out. Pretty sure there's a few photos too. There were a couple of fellas with us and asked them if the men's were as good? Well bugger me they had ice in the urinals!!! 😂😂😂 There is definately pictures of that 🎉

You're spot on about the three tags you picked for "leave as-is." Maybe the first one, that you thought needed a stamp, could use something in that white space above the rose leaf. Thanks for showing us the process of collaging the sheet of paper. I was wondering how you got it to look so wonderful. Some of the Ayozie paper would look good just glued down by itself!

I love these tags. I make tags from my scraps. I use the cut off peices from my paper that I use for signatures. Some peices are quite small and I've read that some crafters don't use these small strips. They say that it's way to tedious for them. I don't find it tedious at al. I love doing thisl and I absoulety love the outcome !!

I agree on leaving those four as they are. I also am an inker. I like the grungier look with the browns and the way items are tied together when I use colors that coordinate. Both ways of are truly great though.

I’d say those tags are great as they are. They each have a fairly large image on them already, so you don’t really need another focal point. They’re so pretty! I’m thinking I need to try this; I was asked to make some bookmarks, and I think this would be a quick way to get a bunch done at once!

The first and 4th tags I think would be nice with a little stamping or inked masking tape. The other ones I would leave. Collage can be so pretty just by itself. It's so therapeutic to do, too!!

I would leave the two that you're questioning as they are. I love the floral images and maybe a small stamp or word strip would look good on there. I love making collage papers. That's the main way I get rid of a paper pack when I've had enough of it lol Tearing it up and making a collage gives it new life and I'm not so tired of it anymore. Hugs & have a great day!!
