When you said you would show us how you sewed inside the journal, I thought "OH thank God", because I couldn't figure out how I would do that! So thank you so much for showing that part! It's something that I have been struggling to understand ever since I started to watch videos, and become interested in making, junk journals! I've probably said this before in comments to you, but I just love your videos, your style of teaching, your attention to detail, and especially your soothing voice, that really makes me want to get in there and create beautiful things, like you do. You're my absolute favorite teacher, thank you.

I think a tag book is such a cool idea! And I love how you just decided to "be you"...and go with it! I truly believe that we can fix any anything. To me, there are no mistakes in crafting. We can always make it work. And I'm never gonna sweat about it! I'm already lovin' this fun little tag series! Can't wait for the next one! Hugs 🌺 ~Suzy~ x

A TAG BOOK!! Omgosh, how fun!! I think one of these would help me when my mind goes into one of those dead zones and I can't seem to create anything. And your blunder...love how you turned that into a positive.

I about died when you covered up that beautiful vintage Bingo card but I guess each to his own....sigh... I love that rooster journal,I also love farmhouse and vintage kitchen type journals. I collect antique cookbooks!!
@TreasureBooks5 жыл бұрын
Sorry Linda. I'm glad you're still with us :) That bingo card didn't 'speak' to me, however when I covered it up I wasn't aware that they are vintage and 'special'. I know that now. But still, I think I may have covered it up anyway oops. Seeing that you collect antique cookbooks, I can see why you 'about died' when I covered the Bingo card. Sorry Linda. RIP Bingo card :(

Great idea and somedays don`t you find all you want to do is sit and create embellishments.I love making tags.

Thank you for sharing the sewing up of the booklet pages. I would have started from the wrong side. Other things I liked: your stitching around the card before you placed it on the tag, so you wouldn't have stitching on the journal-ling side; your use of binders to store off-cuts, and stickers (TREASURE BOOKS, DO YOU HAVE TUTORIALS ON HOW YOU SET UP YOUR STORAGE NOTEBOOKS? I am still in the organizing phase of multi-media art/junk journals, and have so many magazine pictures, envelopes, papers with foreign words, quotes, words, borders, etc., and when I do start actually doing my art/craft fun, I don't want to spend much time hunting for any of these things. Thank you for sharing. You continue to delight and conversely sooth my pandemic tightened shoulder muscles. Be well and safe. Hugs from Alice in S. Carolina US.

I honestly wouldn't have noticed the image was upside down had you not mentioned it! Even when you said it was, I was looking at the background thinking that pattern was what you meant that!! Myself and our son Taylor love watching Big Hero 6 and we always tell one another what Tadashi told his little brother "Use that big brain of yours to think your way out. Look for a new angle" .. Do that! Just "be you" and be unique and quirky and don't let it bother you 😊 And...oh my goodness, the detailing on that little paper doily is absolutely stunning. I would be tempted to just lightly ink over it to emphasise the design and then use it as a page or maybe add it to the outside spine of a journal so it wraps around the front and back of the cover! ~ Victoria (Minxy!) 🌹🦋
@TreasureBooks5 жыл бұрын
Oh I love that "look for a new angle". I recently watched the movie "the dead poets society" and when Robin Williams gets up on the table, and says something like "change your view" or "look at it from a different perspective" that really spoke to me :)
