Gayle you are amazing! I adore these and can’t wait to make some without stitching that is ! I don’t understand dislikes in this community! If you don’t like it don’t watch it! Some people are just jealous of talent! You get KZbin credit anyway! Ignore those basement people and listen to the positive choir in your balcony!

Hi Gayle! And thanks so much for featuring my Vintage Music Digitals! They look awesome printed on your coffee stained paper. :) They say that timing is everything, and the posting of your video just happened to coincide with a previously planned family trip to take our mom on a journey 'down memory lane'. Since I also have physical products, I needed to put my store on vacation mode. And, of course that meant frustrated people when they clicked on my store link you provided. So, as a token of appreciation I wanted your followers to know that I have uploaded bonus files, (digi-tags, I call them) which now become part of their purchase of the Vintage Music files. There are now 5 files. Thanks again, and happy crafting! Cheers, Liz from ervDesigns

YOU ARE AN ENABLER!! I may need to come out of retirement to keep buying all these cool things! Here's the sad part, I have ephemera coming out of my ears BUT still haven't completed my 1st journal lol! It's hysterical but I'm having a blast. Everytime I watch someone make a cool piece of ephemera I run and make it. So thanks for all the cool ideas. My first JJ may be the size of an old encyclopedia dictionaries we use to use in school!!!

Omg Gayle I just got back from a 4 day retreat here at Lancaster Ohio. She calls her place Maple Brook memories. I love retreats but I sure did not go to bed at 10 pm we sat up till 3 and 4 o’clock and back at the craft table at 7 am had to come home to get some rest. My husbands mom passed away on my last day there so no rest for me for 3 days. I was in bed. It is 12:05am here and watched you make the envelope and tag with your envelope punch board and had to get up and make some too I just love your inspiration. Keep it coming.

It was really interesting to see how you took this piece through the years... and evidently a lot of wear and tear. I think you can use those pages you fold in half after you glue for this kind of pocket... Thanks. I know you are having fun at your retreat, and I cannot imagine how much you will have to show!

I'm curios to know what all you take on your retreats!! When we go to crops, we literally look like the Beverly Hillbillies pulling up to the hotel! The valet looks at us like we are crazy 😳😬😂!! I've tried and tried to narrow it down and bring just a project or two but end up bringing so much more...most of it I won't touch the whole weekend!! I'd love to hear your advice!! And by the way, I just love you and your channel! You always make me smile and giggle! You are a great inspiration! I've just started junk journaling after 20 years of scrappin and can't get enough!! I made these a little while ago after seeing you, R. Creations and Patricia V. videos. A lot of fun, too. And, I finally started sewing my pieces. After avoiding it out of fear and a relatively new sewing machine, I bit the bullet and got stuck in and I agree, it really does add a whole new dimension to the final look. But, I think I'll do it your way, Gayle, and sew first instead of last; a lot easier. Loved the way your pocket turned out and I'm interested to give Gesso a try.

Patricia Rider , thank you. Nope, right handed. 😉. But my right hand is next after this one heals up...😳. I think I’m going to have to wait awhile for that surgery and practice being functional with my left hand🤣 they warned me of the slow healing and physical therapy involved. I’m just hoping for pain-free and looking forward to getting back to crafting!😉❤️. In the meantime, Gayle is teaching me lots of cool things!
@patriciarider56985 жыл бұрын
Deb K Bless your heart double time! Prayers and hugs for you! Having had two major fractures to my right arm years apart I can tell you that you dont realize how many simple things you do that are extremely hard to do with your non dominant hand. Eating. Brushing your teeth. Tying your shoes or zipping your pants. Extra vit C and extra protein (unless you have kidney issues) REALLY help with the healing process. I saw it during my nursing career and it really really helps. If you have diabetes keep your blood sugar in check by close monitoring and check with diabetes dr about possible sliding scale. But really sewing machines are very simple to use. I know little about newer models but if anything they are even more user friendly. No need to be intimidated! I feel sure there are all kinds of YT videos out there on any model you buy. Blessings! God bless!

Hoping You have a wonderful time at your retreat! I am curious about coffee dyed papers and value your opinion, I have recently read quite a few posts about how the acid in the coffee dyed process lingers and ladies are finding that where they have written in their junk journals on coffee dyed papers the ink is distorted, has ran and in some cases is fading away. Now I am concerned about continuing using coffee dyed paper/pages and am wondering if you have any information on this. Thanks, Gayle, love watching your channel and so very much enjoy your "Craft with Me" videos - so very inspiring!
