Hi Jane! I'm not really sure. I only make sure to do a compound path because I will be uploading it in cricut and when I don't it sometimes causes Cricut to crash. You probably don't have to since you will be cutting directly from the software.

Question: How long do you press the rhinestones when you are layering different colors? I have had trouble with the rhinestones coming up when I remove the transfer tape after applying the 2nd layer.

are they different size stones? I press based on the recommendation of the seller. I'd press each layer at that time and temp.

Hello Patrice, Thank you for the tutorial. I enjoyed learning how you did the ombré effect. I’m use to creating my rhinestone templates in SCAL, but recently upgraded to Silhouette Business Edition. I created my first project but when I uploaded it into Design Space and sized it correctly my circle sizes looked like ovals. The dimensions were 0.128 x 0.171. When I changed the dimensions of the circles to 0.13 that threw off the whole design. My offset and regular layer didn’t line up correctly. Any idea what I’m doing wrong. Please help!!! Thank you
