Hello friends.
Nice to meet you! My name is Hiroto Yamazaki. I'm Japanese.
🇯🇵Welcome to my channel🇯🇵
This time I made a push stick that no one else had thought of!
When you want to cut wood or boards into thin strips, the width of the fence and the chip saw on the table saw will be very narrow.
Even though the push stick is a consumable item, you don't want it to go whittling away, do you?
So I used some leftover plywood to make a push stick that you can change the width of!
The width can be changed to 10mm, 6mm, 4mm, and 2mm.
This is useful😀

I have been watching your work for a while and find them very informative and entertaining. I also like that you list both imperial and metric measurements. It is a very elegant and useful signature for your videos.

That is a cool Idea. I recommend rounding the Grip to make it a bit nicer for the hand. I made different pushsticks but I thing I will make a thin one as well.

Hi, Heiko of all trades! Thanks for your comment! It is indeed a good idea to make the holding area round. I thought so and tried it once, but I was worried about the strength when I used it in its thinnest state. Currently, the current shape is the best for me. Thank you so much😆

Very cool idea, I like it. The shape is very similar to the “chicken foot” push sticks that are provided with the table saws we purchase here in the USA. Some of the other woodworkers don’t like the “chicken foot” push stick as they claim it doesn’t adequately give adequate control over the piece being cut by the saw in order to prevent dangerous kick back. I haven’t had a problem with it myself though. I enjoyed watching this video.

Hi Charles Davis! Thanks for all your comments! I see that this shape is called "chicken foot" in the US. Thank you for all the information you give me! Thank you for all your help! It is true that there is a risk of kickback with this type of push stick, but I have never had a problem with it. Whatever the case may be, table saws can still be dangerous, so it's best to work with caution. Thanks😊

Very clever! Have you considered rounding over the end with the screw? I'd think that that would make pushing more comfortable. I'll have to make one and try that myself:-).

Hi jabrwok, always appreciate your comments! Rounding over the end with the screw? Sorry, I'm not sure. I think you mean around the hand holding? It's not hard to hold, though, because that area is polished to the point where your hands will be happy.... Please let me know if I'm wrong.
