Great idea from Hiroto Yamazaki. It is really important in carpenter or smithing to have safety gear or tool

Double stick tape can be a pain to get started. I always fold a corner then it starts pretty easy.

I am a subscriber of your KZbin channel and really enjoy watching your KZbin videos on woodworking. I am also very interested in the craftsmanship and culture of Japan. Yes, I have found that double sided tape is somewhat interesting to work with also; some brands are more difficult to work with than others here in the USA. Some are much like double sided masking (painters) tape which are not too bad to work with and others have fibers crisscrossed.along the length and width of the tape and is very sticky and so one needs to be very careful not to let it stick to itself during its application. I have watched every video on your channel and have enjoyed watching them. Keep up the great work.

Very nice design. Thanks for sharing. And yes, removing the backing from double-sided tape is certainly a pain here in the Great State of Texas, and probably everywhere else as well:-).

Hiroto, most of the push sticks I've ever made were about 2.5 inches X 12 inches (6.5 cm X 30 cm) long and had the "bird's mouth" notched in them. I'll give your design a try because you make wood working look like a lot of fun when you're doing things your way... The peeling of double sided tape is pretty tough every time I've done it, also.... Thanks Buddy.
@craftbyhirotoyamazaki3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim Fleming. Thanks for all your comments! I like the long push stick too. But as long as you don't put out too much of the table saw blade, I think this push stick shape is more stable and safer to use. I see, it is a worldwide problem that double-sided tape is hard to remove. Thank you very much.
