I’m with you, just use tape! Also with you, hate wrapping gifts. Not such a big jump from Christmas to birthday since Christmas is the birthday of Jesus! Wonderful cards!

I love to stitch dies. They are my favorite dies and you are right no one is putting out stitch dies but Spellbinders. I was not crazy about the ice cream cone. I plan on only using the base of the cone to make a basket for all the beautiful flower dies. Love your stitch videos.

I just made the ice cream cone stitched card for my granddaughter’s birthday. It’s perfect for a summer birthday. Tape is the way to go. I tried to stitch over the end but couldn’t get it to stay tight enough.

You're right, tape can be a great way to add embellishments to your cards, especially when stitching isn't an option. Don't worry about not being able to stitch over the end, tape can add a great texture and dimension to your design. Happy birthday to your granddaughter!

10:25 the center bow piece would make cool embroidered roses. I know it’d be a lot but can u imagine a full card front of tiny embroidered roses? 😮

I would like to make this with variegated floss. How do you use it to keep the pattern of the varagration????

Oooo awesome question. So let’s say I was going to stitch the big loops on the bow. For that I would cut one piece of floss split the floss in half (three strands each). Then use one on one side starting at the same end of the floss. Then repeat it on the other side with the same side of the floss first. That should give a mirrored effect and have both sides match perfectly.
