I love that this guy comments and/or likes just about every single comment. Not to mention, they are all personalized responses to each comment. Meanwhile, a lot of the comments are trolling him about using his tools vs “forging” everything, safety glasses (I can kinda see this point if they are truly concerned for his safety) etc. I guess the old saying of “if you don’t have anything nice to say” is lost on society in general.

That's a lot of miles on that angle grinder. When you use the same tool for everything, you get really good at it. The only other tool I saw was that bench grinder, but that is basically the same tool. Impressive.

Bravo! What a great display of your skilled craftsmanship on this splendid Commando Knife. You first conceived the design and then started sculpturing and fabricating the entire knife without using a forge (except to heat treat the knife, could have even used a household oven) or power hammer. This was an entertaining example of making objects, especially in a skilled way, using the simplest forms by using only hand and hand power tools. Thank you. I have already started my reproduction of your Commando Knife. I started with spring steel and will emulate you with only using hand and hand power tools but will heat treat my knife in my spare oven. The truth is, I'm not a knife (Metal) maker just a hobbyist woodworker trying to expand my knowledge base. I do not have a forge, power hammer, or any Blacksmiths tools.
