Great instructions!These are darling! I’d like my bowl to stand still. Wondering if I laid the balloon on plastic to make it flat? I’m thinking using tape around my finger to hold the balloon.

I think if I wanted my bowl to have a flat bottom I would use something else for a mold. You can use just about anything. Simply cover it well with plastic wrap before you begin layering your fabric on it. And choose something that you wouldn't be too upset over losing if the project somehow went awry. Although it should be just fine.

@@sustainableslowlivingmy fabric is 100% cotton and the edges are fraying as I mod podge it. I took your advice and used a plastic dollar tree cereal bowl. Am I suppose to wash the fabric first like when you sew? Thank you so much!

@@rebeccarivas420 I didn't wash my fabric first. And if the edges are not fraying too badly I wouldn't be concerned. You can trim them neatly after the bowls are dry. My edges didn't fray. So I'm not sure why your having that issue. If it's really bad you may want to consider another fabric. Or sew a stitch just inside the edge of the fabric before mod podging to stop the fraying. Of course, if you sew a stitch you will be starting over.
