I love your tutorials, too. I take a picture on my phone of your wonderful instructions and then when I get them developed, I put them in a journal I have for future use. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us every step. I think while it is still winter, I will take the time to do lots of ephemera ahead of time so it does make it easier when filling up the journals. I am also inspired in taking the time to sew, too. It makes the pages and tags so much prettier. Keep up the great work you do. I am one who cant come up with the ideas, but I can sure try with your help to try doing them.

I discovered your channel by mere "oportunity meets effort" when i was looking at the junk journaling tag in my "no apps phone"(i don't have social media there, basically), and your video popped up and called strongly my attention… But now, after 8 to 10 videos, i know i found a hidden gem. This type of journaling never felt fully confortable to me, i ain't good at sewing, i'm picky with my papers and arrangements bc i'm also an illustrator(and very perfectionist and "neat" at that), the aesthetics of normal journaling tend to be very dainty, and full of couple "anime" or korean-like stickers(which i don't vibe with, i profusely despise having human faces staring at me in my journals, and any human body by itself is kinda weird), and full of expensive materials, which i want, yes, but not ALL of them!! And i specially have troubles with hipsters-like aesthetics and minimalistic journals… But i found this channel, and i felt so conforted by your words, it made me feel better about myself… You keep on repeating, "It doesn't have to be perfect" "You can use other colours if you want" "If it's nor your style, you can do it differently" And don't hesitate to show us how varied and chaoticly pretty your collections are, proudly sharing your creations(you might not be an amateur illustrator like me, but you SURELY create a lot!! And everything is beautifull, so you're like, a "scrapbooking/journaling artist", very specialized), to the point it's easy to get lost in your reassurance and believe in one's self… That i can't help it but feel inspired, and that IT IS OKAY, if i wanna create just for the sake of it And IT IS OKAY, if it is not perfect, or made from things people wouldn't even bat an eye for, like a cookie illustration from a plastic bag package, or a cute tag made with cardboars from tea boxes. It's okay to just do it, and be content with it, even if it is not "brand new" from a shop, and it doesn't have to be museum worthy to be art and be enjoyable to show and make. Thank you so much for this videos, they inspire me so so much💖💖💖 I hope you find the secret to happiness in the other side of the rainbow, little and nice junk journal leprechaun full of joy and wonder ✨🌈🐇💖🍀

I sometimes have a firm measurement on the cover (when pre existing), sometimes a decided measurement on the papers for the signature, as when I want all letter size folded in half. That determines which I do first. I love this tutorial, and it is so carefully and clearly presented! I love the cute little journal that you made!

I have been watching your KZbin channel for several weeks now. I have watched other channels but yours is my favorite. I love your style and casual approach yet you are very detailed. I have created a few pieces, not journals per se. I found some of my mothers old pictures and included were the old cardboard frames that the photographers used to display the photos. I still have a way to go but I have to say with your help they didn't come out awful! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos and your style. You're terrific! Thanks.

I will do my prototype this week and think about how to simplify the process for 7-12 years old. Hopefully, they will be able to succeed. It is my first time as a teacher for kids, so I am a little bit worrying. We will try to keep choices to the minimum and steps as simple as possible. Hugs from Kazakhstan!
