Thanks for making this video... my Blacksmith was Exalted with the Thorium Brotherhood but had never stopped by to pick up the recipe!. Sulfuron Ingots are currently 6k each on my AH and the Sulfuron Hammer plans are 171k gold so this video gave me some ideas on how to make some relatively easy gold.

I have tried crafting and selling Dark Iron items for nice profits from time to time but my personal experience has always been that there isn't a big market to make it worth the time considering the amount and cost of the materials required for crafting, whether you farm them yourself or buy them. The crafted items are listed for high amounts, true, but they are not really sold frequently. I had multiple times where my auctions didn't sell even though I had listed them for reasonable prices. A couple of times, resellers bought them quickly only because I listed them for considerably lower prices. I mean, this is not a market where you craft and sell something quickly. Perhaps more patient sellers may profit nicely, but I gave up on Dark Iron crafting.

Dark iron gear is a slow market, its like transmog. They have nice profits and when they do sell, it is certainly a nice boost. If you have a more diversified market with some high turnover stuff, you won't be so bothered with the lower turnover stuff. But if it isn't for you, take a break and try again later. Perhaps you have a competitor who is undercutting you aggressively and protecting that market to keep the profits to themselves.

I do it on vanilla (Light's hope servers) and I do it on retail. Still an awesome market.

You are far too nice to tell people how to do this and make it so simple for people to understand. It was a great video though, i enjoyed watching it. I always get hyped when im farming dark iron ore and i kill the mountain dudes and i get a blood drop. I get even more hyped every time i see a piece of my dark iron stuff has sold.

Sure if you can grab any pets that are super under priced and you know they sell for more on your server, now would be the time to get them, wait a while and re sell them when the event is over and price picks up.

Hey Sheyra do you have any groups set up specifically for buying cheap mats, ie dark iron ore which can then be turned into dark iron bars (or mote of harmony>spirit of harmony etc) for profit? There are soooo many mats out there that I know can be flipped but having a TSM group would make it so much easier to find them. LOVE YOUR VIDS GUYS!

there was no offer...this toon has never been a blacksmith & in fact this account has never had a blacksmith so i dont understand what i did wrong...did blizz change the way you get the hammer pattern? do you have to be a miner & BS....plz let me know what you think...i had the ingot on me as well for payment...
